I purchased these products myself
I've talked about Etude House lots on the blog before; but, it's been a little while! I could not resist trying a few things from the "Happy With Piglet" collection!
This collection is a special, limited edition release for 2019 as this year is the "Year of the Pig", so a piglet (plus a few friends) is the cutest makeup collection idea!
While I've tried a fair bit of Etude House skincare, I haven't really tried much of their makeup (or really of any k-beauty makeup), but these products both sounded really great! So, I picked up a Jelly Mousse Blusher and a Liquid Lips Air Mousse! Both of these formulas sounded really unique to me!
Etude House Happy With Piglet Jelly Mousse Blusher in PK002 ~ $13.76 CAN. A cushiony jelly-like mousse blush for milky-white and lovely cheeks. Soft mousse texture blusher provides you Piglet-like lovely cheek color.
This little blush is too cute - the packaging is shaped to piglet's face and even includes his little ears on top! It's so cute!
The shade I picked is PK002 and the colour is described as "Peach Pink" - it's does look like a peachy pink in the package, but on me it translates as a pretty pink shade on cheeks. Perhaps on a different skin tone, the peachy tone might show a little bit more!
I've never used a blush described as a Jelly Mousse before, so they suggest you either put a moderate amount on your fingers or brush and blend it in circular motions on the cheeks.
I personally found this worked the best when I applied it with a dense beauty sponge and patted it on the cheeks! (This formula is lightly pigmented, so for me this gave the best pigmentation and colour payoff!) But, I also don't like applying face products with my fingers so I didn't try it that way; but, I think this application would give nice colour pay off as well!
Here is a PK002 Peach Pink swatched on my arm, as well as blended out lightly beside it. You can see that it look pretty light pink on me.
And, here is a look at the colour on my cheeks - this is just PK002 applied with a dense beauty sponge and patted on to the cheeks. This does include 2 layers of this product built up for this level of colour pay off.
Etude House Happy With Piglet Color In Liquid Lips Air Mousse in PK002 ~ $27.66 CAN. Air mousse tint with light texture adheres to lips creating moisturizing luster without stickiness. Watery color can be blended evenly on you lips.
Piglet had a few friends in this collection, and I couldn't resist this lip tint in the Tigger shade! Again, this packaging is adorable, and the little ears just top it off! Too cute!
The shade is PK002 is described as "soft melon pink" and it ended up looking quite differently on me than described - I found this a little more full on medium pink on my lips; but, it is still a really pretty shade, just different than what I expected.
I like the description of a liquid lips air mousse and its described as a lightweight mousse tint that glides on smoothly and provides a moisturizing and long-lasting colour to the lips!
This just says to apply a moderate amount to the lips from the outside towards the inside. I thought this applied really smoothly and was comfortable on the lips.
This does settle in to the lips in a little less of a bright pink; but, overall, it's a pretty shade. This wears really nicely and the lips and stays on a little pink tint on the lips after a couple of hours. It is a little hard to remove overall; but, it still is an easy to wear formula!
Here is the full makeup look with the Etude House Jelly Mousse Blusher and Liquid Lips Air Mousse! I really like both of these products and am happy with how they look on. I'm a little bummed that the colour wasn't fully represented online and looked a little different on me - but the shades were really pretty!
What do you think of these products?! Do you have some favourite k-beauty makeup products? I love that these formulas were unique in my collection!
