Fall 2019 FabFitFun - Lifestyle Subscription Unboxing

I restarted my FabFitFun subscription recently in the Summer and was excited to give the subscription another go! I really liked my Summer box, so I was excited to receive my Fall box - and I actually managed to avoid spoilers, other than my selections!

This subscription was purchased by me - this post does contain affiliate links

FabFitFun is a quarterly lifestyle subscription box full of fabulous finds in beauty, wellness, fashion, and fitness - hand-picked by the FabFitFun team! Each box will contain $200 or more in retail value.
Each season's box (ships out around the start of each season) is $49.99 US plus $8.00 US for shipping to Canada (or free shipping in the U.S. and $10.00 US shipping to the U.K.) Or, you can subscribe for an Annual Membership for $179.99 US (plus shipping costs). Now, FabFitFun offers a few different customization choices each box; but, with an Annual Membership you get more customization options. I personally went with the Annual Membership as I was excited about the customization option and wanted specific products this month that tempted me to resubscribe!

Even the box this season's FabFitFun came in is pretty! Each box comes with a big catalogue detailing all the products and all the options.

Here is a look at all the products I received in my Summer 2019 FabFitFun box:

Fall 2019 FabFitFun - Lifestyle Subscription Unboxing

The Better Skin Co. Better Skin Lava Magik - Cleanser - Scrub - Mask ~ $42.00 CAN. A daily cleanser, exfoliating scrub and revitalizing mask. Skin cleansing volcanic lava from France enriched with nourishing calendula, sweet orange and grapeseed oils, cucumber, parsley, and chamomile for healthy radiant, more youthful looking skin.

I picked this over a pair of earrings and a vitamin c serum, so I like that the idea of it being a multi-use product and it's sound like it's got some good skin ingredients! I'm always a little nervous with exfoliants as I don't really use them, but I will give this a shot!

Plush Ultra Soft Fleece Plaid Scarf ~ $75.00 US. Stay warm and stylish this cold-weather season by adding a pop of plaid to your winter ensemble. This ultra-soft scarf features a classic color palette with fringe detail.

This was another selection item and I picked this over a travel yoga mat, a hair straightener, and a mystery item. I love scarfs and this one is super soft and I like the plaid print. It's nice and big and I will certainly get lots of use out of it!

Nassif MD Detox Pads ~ $45.00 US. Complexion Perfecting Detox Pads In a few easy swipes, deep clean, exfoliate, reduce pores, brighten, even skin tone, firm, smooth, reduce inflammation and protect against blue light and free radicals with our Detox Pads!

I've really liked the other types of detox pads that I've tried and I actually don't have any, so I did pick this as another selection over a lunch bag, wallet and cheese board. This comes with 60 pads and I use these weekly or sometimes bi-weekly, so these will last for a while!

Skin & Co Truffle Therapy Face Toner ~ $35.48 CAN. Not your traditional face toner! We have created this toner to cleanse and purify the skin deeply. Formulated with natural extracts of Truffle, Calendula, Rose and Rosemary, we have created a blend to purify pores, while contributing the antiseptic powers of Witch Hazel and Sage to remove dead skin and bacteria to prevent future breakouts, and boosting the skin with extra antioxidants.

I picked this over an aromatherapy roller ball and eye masks. I use a toner every day, twice per day so I can always use another and I will use this one soon!

Human + Kind Body Souffle in a Tube ~ $18.50 US. Lightly whipped for the Ultimate in Kindness, Human+Kind’s 2-in-1 light and fluffy Body SoufflĂ© is quickly absorbed to leave your skin feeling super moisturised and soft to the touch.

This sounds like it's going to be really nice - I love a thick moisturizer and I love a tube. I dislike tub products, so I'm always happy to see this packaging. This sound like it will smell good too - apricot and shea butter. I will try this out soon and am looking forward to it!

Harper + Ari Juice Cleanse Exfoliating Sugar Cubes ~ $16.00 US. To use take a single cube with you in the shower or bath and gently massage over wet skin. (we like to break the cube up in our hands first with a little water!) Concentrate on any rough patches. Recommended use is twice a week, or whenever you need a little extra pampering.

These smells like pineapple, kiwi and green apple that smells like it's going to be really good. I don't mind body exfoliators, but this isn't the most exciting product to receive in a subscription. I will use these all up though, so this isn't a loss of a product, just not the most amazing!

Fall 2019 FabFitFun - Lifestyle Subscription Unboxing

Aveda Damage Remedy Daily Hair Repair ~ $41.00 CAN. Instantly repair and protect your hair from heat styling (up to 450 degrees!) with the power of quinoa protein, macadamia oil, and soy.

Aveda is a really good hair brand, but I personally don't really use a heat protectant on the daily - I really let my hair air dry fairly often! Also, if I'm using a heat protection product, I generally reach for a spray formula because it doesn't feel as heavy in my hair. I think this may be a product that I pass on!

Afterspa Hair Towel Wrap ~ $18.00 US. This hair towel helps reduce the frizz and maintain healthier hair by cutting the time of blow drying and heat exposure which ultimately reduces the risk of split ends and excessive damage. Works great for long or short hair, straight or curly- basically, if you have hair it will work for you! There is an elastic band built in that allows the hair towel to flex and shape depending on your hair volume and size of head, making every fit a comfortable and customized one.

This was another selection item over a salt and pepper mill set, mini eye crayon set, and a body boost gel. This looked interesting and I hate using a full size body towel on my hair, so I'm interested to see if this will work!

So, overall I'm pretty happy with the Fall 2019 FabFitFun box - this box wasn't as exciting as the Summer Box to me, but I'm still looking forward to giving most of these products a try! Overall, my box value was $290.98 - this will probably seem a little higher than most; but, I I try and post in Canadian prices for products when available!

  1. Interesting box review - but I can see how it wasn't really exciting as it could be. Hopefully the next one is truly awesome! The scarf is great though so that's a total win! have a really great day and weekend!

    1. The scarf is a great win! Maybe I'm getting a little subscriptioned out, so sometimes things aren't as exciting for me!
