Monthly Beauty Empties - March & April 2021

Here's a look at my March and April Beauty Empties:

Monthly Beauty Empties - March & April 2021
Some products may have been received as PR samples - this post contains affiliate links

Milk Makeup Kush High Volumizing Mascara ~ sample size shown (full size is $32.00 CAN). A high-volume mascara formulated with heart-shaped fibers, conditioning hemp-derived cannabis seed oil, and pure pigments for an intense black finish.

I think a lot of the mascaras I've been trying lately have not been living up to their claims, and this one finally did! It is very volumizing and looks fantastic on my lashes - it makes them full and dark and keeps my lashes full and thick all day! I think it may smudge a tiny bit after a really long day, but I'm pretty picky about that and I didn't mind after the end because it looked so nice on the lashes!

7th Heaven Superfood Avocado, Rice Protein, and Turmeric Bamboo Biodegradable Sheet Masks

Happy Earth Day! I always like to use this time to reflect that even though I'm very consumeristic, I do like to be conscious in my purchasing and do what I can for this lovely planet of ours!

I received these masks as PR samples

Calgary has a great, city-wide composting program, so whenever I see products are biodegradable and compostable, I'm always super excited! I can have my skincare and make sure that my products are being composted (then every Summer, I pickup free compost from the city and add it to my garden).

Monthly Beauty Empties - February 2021

Time to look at my beauty garbage from February:

Some products may have been received as PR samples - this post contains affiliate links

Moyra Stamping Nail Polish Top Coat ~ $7.99 US. All the way from Budapest, Hungary, the SP Top Coat is specially formulated to protect your stamped nail art to give you the long-lasting wear your nail art deserves.

This is hands down the best top coat for when you have done any art so it won't smudge - it's super thick and wears for a really long time! This made my Best Nail Products of 2019 and it is the best top coat I've used for nail art (plus, I'm incredibly impatient, everything but this will smudge on me!)

Monthly Beauty Empties - January 2021

Time for a look at my beauty garbage from January:

MAC Cosmetics Mini MAC Prep + Prime Fix+ Primer and Setting Spray ~ $18.00 CAN. A lightweight water mist that finishes makeup, while gently soothing and refreshing skin.

This was a little mini I've been carrying around in my purse for a while - I like this as a refresher during the day while wearing makeup because it won't mess up my makeup. I also prefer this as a primer and don't use it soley as a setting spray.

Last Minute, Easy Pickup Beauty, Bath & Body Gifts and Stocking Stuffers!

Can you believe we are on the home stretch to Christmas?! I know it will be a quiet one this year, but I love Christmas, so quiet or not, I'm so excited for it!

Last Minute, Easy Pickup Beauty, Bath & Body Gifts and Stocking Stuffers!
These products were all received as PR samples, except the Cooling Globes and Body Shop lotion that I purchased - this post contains affiliate links

Now, I'm one of those people that pre-plans my Christmas shopping and starts months in advance, so I've had everything done and wrapped for weeks (I personally just try to avoid the last minute stress); but, I do know most people will be rushing out for a few last minute gifts and stocking stuffer ideas!
