Fall 2023 - The Jilly Box Subscription Box Unboxing

I'm a big fan of Jillian Harris, so when she announced that she was starting a subscription box, I was so excited! The box started with the Winter 2019 box and sadly, I was not one of the lucky originals who won a subscription spot, so I sign up every season and hope to get picked for a lottery spot!

Fall 2023 - The Jilly Box Subscription Box Unboxing
I purchased this box on my own - this post contains affiliate links

The Jilly Box is a quarterly seasonal subscription box - the products within the box include some of Jillian’s (and Team Jilly’s!) favourite items (and brands) from home decor, fashion, bath and beauty, health and wellness, accessories perfect for each season. Some of the items included will be custom designed exclusively for the Jilly Box. The Jilly Box really focuses on including products from small, local businesses while being ethically sourced and inclusive. They also focus on reducing plastic waste and packaging - the big boxes can be turned inside out and reused! Also, they try to include Canadian, woman owned brands, as well as Bipoc and LGBTQ owned brands as well.

The Jilly Box is $199 CAN quarterly + taxes and includes free shipping to Canada and the U.S. And, while this is on the pricier end for a subscription box, it will contain at least $400 worth of products each season! The box is shipped out prior to the start of each season - so the Fall box shipped in mid-August.

The box always includes a little booklet that includes information about each product, recipes, interviews with makers and more! Here is a closer look at all the products in the Fall 2023 Jilly Box:

Fall 2023 - The Jilly Box Subscription Box Unboxing

Made About Style The Grace Midi Dress in Vintage Floral ~ $119.00 CAN. The Grace Midi, designed by Jillian Harris and Mad About Style exclusively for the Fall 2023 Jilly Box. The Grace midi is an effortless dress with a smocked bustier, romantic puff sleeve and midi length. Designed to be the piece you reach for when hosting & celebrating life's moments; big or small. This floral print has been hand painted and is exclusive to the Fall 2023 Jilly Box. The Vintage floral dress captures the feeling of an antique piece of art you might have sitting on your pantry shelf.

This dress is total Jillian style and it's perfect for Fall! This came in four possible prints and I got Vintage Floral. It's really nice, but I was actually able to find a swap to get the Farm Floral print - it's a pink floral and I like this! Perfect item for a Fall box!

Sugar Blossom - Beet Raine Necklace ~ $60.00 CAN. Our limited-edition collaboration designed by Jillian Harris for The Fall 2023 Jilly Box is here! Inspired by cozy fall recipes and gatherings at home — we're sure you'll love this dainty necklace so mush!

I think this is super cute - I love necklaces so I'm glad the jewellery was this. I love the little mushrooms (you could also get beets), and it includes a little recipe and it's adorable.

Monika Hibbs Home - MH Dinner Bell ~ $65.00 CAN. Dinner's ready! This solid brass dinner bell is one of our top sellers. It is not only fun but it looks beautiful when affixed to a kitchen or pantry. Everyone is sure to run in for a meal once rung.

This comes in two sizes - petite and classic, the one we got is petite and I think it's a good size. I guess this is the one Jillian has in her home, so it's cute they were able to collab and include it for everyone in this box! It's a super cute home item!

Vancouver Island Sea Salt - Flake Sea Salt ~ $10.00 CAN. Beautiful, delicate salt crystals with a balanced saltiness that make for a great all-around gourmet finishing salt for both savoury and sweet dishes. Just pinch and crumble on grilled meats, vegetables, seafood, salads, desserts and more. The larger (3-10mm), delicately textured crystals last longer on the surface of food, delivering a flavour boosting burst of brine while adding a beautiful look to your dishes.

I've never tried flake sea salt before, but it sounds great! I always enjoy food and kitchen items in these boxes and I will happily use this!

Jess' Paper Co. Grocery Notepad ~ $17.00 CAN. Who couldn't use a little help getting their life more organized? I partnered with Jillian Harris to bring you the cutest, most functional, grocery time notepad. It has 50 easy-tear pages and is the perfect size to throw into your bag on the way to the grocery store.

This is cute - they really fit in the theme and colouring of this whole box! I tend to use my phone for my grocery list, but I'm probably going to give these a try. Super cute.

Tav Ceramics Pinch Bowl ~ $38.00 CAN. This handmade pinch bowl was designed exclusively for The Jilly Box with the intent to be casual enough for everyday use, but elevated enough to add to your tablescape for your dinner parties. I've used it for dips, as a salt cellar and filled it with olives - the possibilities are endless! Each bowl is made with a mushroom grey coloured clay, a food-safe white glaze and completed with a dainty heart imprint. Don't fret, although it looks fragile it's microwave and dishwasher friendly!

How beautiful is this little ceramic bowl?! It will be perfect for dinner parties and brunches and it's lovely! Absolutely gorgeous - I can't wait to use this!

The Cross Heartfelt Wooden Spoon ~ $18.95 CAN. Crafted with care, this cutout heart spoon combines the warmth of baking with the tenderness of affection, reminding you that cooking is the key to hearts and the soul's most delicious journey.

Ahh another adorable kitchen item - I feel like I'm not saying much about them, because they are great, useable items and I love them!

Sahajan Lip Karma ~ $22.00 CAN. Sahajan takes your lips seriously. Their luxe Lip Karma blends feature Castor, Rapeseed and Argan Oils to offer deep hydration and just the right amount of shine. But it gets better- with every product purchased, they can stand together on an issue that matters- Girls Education. Working in partnership with Plan International's Because I am Girl initiative, every Lip Karma purchased provides one day of school for a girl, in a developing country so she can decide her own future.

I love a lip product in these boxes - you could get this in four different flavours. I got the coconut flavour and these will be perfect for the transition to Fall. This is lovely!

Bluum Maison for the Jilly Box: Maison Collection Table Runner and Napkin Set ~ $70.00 CAN. If you're looking for an inviting and unique way to add flavor to your table, this handmade table runner and napkin set is exactly what you need. With this set, we found our inspiration rooted in nostalgia with the careful combination of comfort and craftsmanship that comes from 100% cotton material. Thoughtfully designed with simple detail, each piece of the Maison Collection will serve as a warm reminder of all the special gatherings you've shared or will experience with those around you. Furthermore, the most part of dye used here is from plants which makes it not just beautiful but environmentally friendly as well! Each section of the collection includes 4 napkins and 1 runner for added charm - perfect for creating memories with loved ones. With a color palette that effortlessly blends into any home décor, this collection can be used throughout any season so you can make moments even more memorable over time no matter where the occasion leads.

This is a table runner set with four napkins - it's really cute and it's plant dyed and 100% cotton. The shade is perfect for Fall and it's a nice set. I don't typically use a table runner because cats and children, but I will keep this for dinner parties or something like that!

Overall, this is a great box - it's a great Fall theme and I'm thrilled with the products that they've included! It feels great for the new season coming up - I like all the kitchen items, the dress, the necklace! It's all adorable. While the box is pretty indulgent at $200 a quarter, it did come with a value of $419.95 CAN. I'm really excited about this box!

Have you tried this subscription box yet?!
