I was rather excited to see the new Sally Hansen Prismatic Shine polishes in store at Shoppers Drug Mart recently - they look so pretty. So naturally, I had to pick up one and give it a go!
This is a newer line and I can't resist a pink glittery polish, so I had to give this a try! Also, it's been a very busy weekend and I didn't have much time to do my nails at all, so it seems like the perfect time to use a polish that claims to dry in 60 seconds! The Insta-Dri formula is also 3-in-1 formula, so you don't have to use a base or top coat with the polish! (Again, perfect for a super quick mani!)
The Sally Hansen Insta-Dri polishes are $6.49 CAN and I typically find mine at Shoppers - I picked up the shade Pink Aurora - it is a fuchsia pink polish with pink and silver glitter inside, that looks almost multicolour! It's beautiful.
This was a thin formula, so it had to be built up with at least 3 thin coats, and it's not very opaque after 3 coats either. The polish shade itself is pretty, and the layering of the coats really builds up the sparkle so it looks really pretty.
This is a really pretty shade, but it's not quite the formula I love - I prefer a really opaque polish (even a shimmer or glitter), so on it's own it's not ideal for me. But, I can see this working great as a topper polish over other pink polishes I already own, so I do think I will get lots of use out it that way.
And, I do think this polish is good for quick manicures - I wouldn't quite give it a 60 second dry time (it was still tacky), but certainly it was dry within a few minutes, so it is great for quick manis!
How did you celebrate Valentine's Day yesterday? As always, make sure to check out Cosmetic Proof and Prairie Beauty Love to see their nails too!
It looks so cute :-D
