Mask Review - The OOZOO Bear Black Space Pore Caring Mask

Ah, my favorite post of the week is always trying and testing out new masks! And, you might know by now that I'm a total sucker for packaging and these Oozoo Bear masks are so adorable!

The Oozoo Bear Black Space Pore Caring Mask ~ $4.00 US/$5.34 US. A pore tightening mask to burst the first agent, Oxyforce cellular active, which delivers oxygen and elasticity to the pores, right before use to be mixed with the second agent, hazel water, which regulates skin hydration and provides vitality to the skin. Black bamboo tight sheet is a plant-based mask containing bamboo extract firmly and softly tightens your pores through its soft touch and strong adhesion.

This mask's main goal is to tighten and reduce pores. I tend not to use pore masks too often, and usually reserve them for when my skin is feeling extra oily or break-out prone and I find that they are really helpful for me at that time! 


I had actually never heard of this brand until I received this in a subscription box; but, had I came across it online or in stores, I would have picked it up right away to try based on the packaging! Now, the brand is available online at Ulta, which is great! 

This mask is a little different to use - before applying it, you have to open a little internal seal to allow the active ampoule to mix in with the mask in the main pouch. There is a series of 2 lines for you to fold along, then you squeeze and it should be enough pressure to pop the seal and allow the liquid to mix in with the pre-soaked mask. Then you ensure the ampoules have mixed by massaging the packaging. 

Once that step is done, it's applied just like a regular sheet mask! Wash face, tone skin, apply mask, wear for 15-20 minutes, remove mask and massage remaining essence in to skin. 

I love the black bamboo mask material - it adheres really well to the skin and is super soft and comfortable to wear. The fit was pretty good on me; but, there were a few spots on this mask that felt less soaked in essence than others so it felt slightly uneven to me. 

It wore for about 20 minutes and had just a tiny bit of essence left over to massage in. My skin felt really clear and refreshed after wearing this and I did think my pores looked less pronounced. The following morning I had some reduced redness and just fresher looking skin overall - I quite enjoyed the results of this adorable mask!

I will be adding more of these to my shopping cart whenever I plan an Ulta order next!
