Happy Manicure Monday! Things are getting wild around here today with some leopard print nails!
I'm teaming up again this week, with Jayne from Cosmetic Proof and Trysh from Prairie Beauty Love - and this week we obviously picked Leopard Print! These ladies are amazing at nails, so make sure you check out what they came up with too!
I contemplated which colours I was going to use for my leopard print; but, I ended up deciding on really classic Leopard colours!
Okay, so I'm not totally thrilled with how these turned out personally. I followed my own leopard tutorial from a Halloween makeup look (you can see it here) and it was much easier to use with a thin tip eyeliner pen then my really long tip nail art polish brush!
(Side note, this would work much better with a short tipped nail art brush - I actually tossed all my brushes months ago and ordered a new set of brushes in January and I'm still waiting for them...) I'm also showing you really close up pictures and they do look nicer when you aren't inspecting them this close up!
I'm happy that I stuck to the neutral theme with this print as I never have these natural nails! I'm always doing something pink or bright, so it's fun to switch it up once in a while!
Also, I think this is my first time doing leopard print nails and it was fun - I can't wait to do it again when I have a better nail art brush to use!
The shades I used for this manicure are:
-base polish is Urbane by Ceramic Glaze
-brown is King Street by Square Hue
-black is Black Creme by Wet n Wild
While my ombre isn't the most amazing technically, I think the colours look amazing! Again, make sure you check out Cosmetic Proof and Prairie Beauty Love - they are totally going to nail the ombre nails!
