October 2017 - Month in Masks & Mask Empties!

Masking is a huge part (and probably my favorite part) of my skincare routine! I try to use all types of masks as often as possible as I find they really help moisturize and improve my skin! 

This post is a review of all the masks I use each month and mini reviews on all of them - I also consider the Month of Masks my Mask Empties post, because I do not feature my sheet masks in my monthly empties post!

Here is a look at the masks I used in October:

Purlisse Blue Lotus + White Tea Treatment Sheet Mask ~ 6 masks for $36.00 ($6.00 each). 

This mask smelled really good and it worked decently on my face. It was a bit thicker of a mask but it did brighten my skin. It was good, but not the most amazing mask that I have ever tried. At $6 each - it should be pretty good. I can find better for less $!

Repurchase: Not likely...

The Face Shop Real Nature Face Mask "Pomegranate" ~ $3.00. This Pomegranate Face Mask reduces the appearance of the first signs of aging and helps improve skin's elasticity. Rich in antioxidants, pomegranate provides skin with long-lasting hydration and a radiant complexion.

The Face Shop masks are my affordable go-to masks - they just moved from $2 to $3, but still thats a reasonable price. They fit really big, but have enough tabs to be smoothed on to the face well. This had lots of essence and made my skin feel nice and refreshed!

January 2017 In8Beauty - New Canadian Mask Subscription Unboxing and Review

The Face Shop Real Nature Avocado Face Mask ~ $2.00. Improve your skin's suppleness and elasticity with this Avocado Face Mask. Rich in nutrients, the hydrating serum contained in this mask is perfect for dry or very dry skin.

The Face Shop masks are my go-to inexpensive masks - they are easy to find and generally have some good sales with buy 10, get 5 free very often. I love this Avocado mask as it is so hydrating and makes my skin feel amazing!
