Kiesque LIQUID PALISADE™ Easy-Peel Polish Barrier ~ $17.00. Kiesque’s LIQUID PALISADE™ Easy-Peel Polish Barrier is perfect for keeping your cuticles free from polish when brushing on traditional manis or water-marble designs. A liquid tape designed for your nails, it features a quick-drying formula and an easy-to-use handle with a short, wide brush for instant application to cuticles.
This is a paint on and peel off polish barrier, meant to make clean up nice and easy for marbling and regular manicures! This product has really mixed reviews online; but, I think it sounds really great and was looking forward to trying it!
I will say, the bottle is a little smaller than I was expecting so I am curious to see how long this will last - I imagine you don't use a ton of product in 1 use.
To use, you paint a layer around your nails and cuticles (shape if necessary), paint on nail polish, and prior to polish drying remove the Liquid Palisade by peeling with a pair of tweezers.
Some of the complaints about this product online is that it is clear and people could not see it on their nails - I did not find that problem at all. This picture is of the liquid palisade dry so it was very easy to see.
I was surprised by how easy this was to use! I painted the polish barrier on and did not really have to shape it at all - I thought it went on really easy. I painted on 2 quick coats of polish and peeled the barrier off! It was surprisingly really easy! I thought it might stick or come off in a few different pieces; but, honestly all 10 nails peeled off in 1 easy go! I was so impressed with this product!!!!
Here is a look at 1 hand with just the Kiesque Liquid Pallisade Easy-Peel Off Barrier with no touch ups:
I am really happy with the results - even doing a regular Manicure I can get a little messy and always have to go in with q-tips to clean up, but I find that never really works the best! I am really loving the results of this product! I will keep using this product for sure and would recommend it - especially if you know you are doing something a little messy!
Have you guys tried this product yet?
Now, on to my Manicure Monday:
I just did some simple hand-painted triangles and stripes for a nice simple Mani - I had to cut off my nails this week (as I broke a few)!
Here is a look at the products I used this week:
-Formula X nail cleanser, base coat, and top coat
-NCLA polish in "Santa Monica Shore Thing"
-Quo by ORLY nail artist polish in "White" and "Foil Silver"
For this Manicure, I started with nail cleanser, base coat and 2 coats of base polish. I used the nail art brushes to create some stripes and designs. I completed the look with top coat.
I always have a hard time getting used to short nails - good thing they normally grow pretty quickly!
I have not tried this specific brand, but I have a nail polish barrier too and it's an absolute must for nail art! Especially when doing gradients and such. Love it!
ReplyDeleteLove the nail art you did!
