November 2014 TopBox - Canadian Beauty Box Review and Unboxing!

TopBox is a Canadian Beauty Box Subscription - for $12 CDN a month with free shipping (I pay $12.60 each month with tax), you will receive 4 deluxe sample size or full size products. You fill out a beauty profile and get items based on what you have identified. Also, every month you have the option to "wish" for a prive box. A prive box is a box that focuses on one brand or product for the whole box. (The only downside is that they do have a wait list - it took me about a month to get off of it).

This month I selected the "regular" topbox as no Prive box jumped out at me!

Here is my November 2014 TopBox:
And here is a closer look at the products:

Benefit Stay Flawless 15 Hour Primer ~ sample 0.04oz for $2.81 (full size is 0.54 for $38). Take flawless into overtime! This instant PRO-long primer acts like a magnet to lock on your foundation for up to 15 fresh and flawless hours. The invisible stick-primer glides directly onto skin for optimal wear and a natural-looking finish.
The reviews are mixed on this product and the common concern is that it feels waxy - I have yet to try it as I have a few primers to get through!

Eslor Introductory Collection Calming Kit ~ sample size $15 for 20ml for all 4 products (full size is $45 for 4 products 60ml combined). I received this same package twice before (in different boxes) and a larger sample of the Eslor lotion. I'm not a fan of the foil packets; however, these are really great products and they are worth emptying in to a container and using!

UniqOne All in One Hair Treatment ~ sample size 9ml for $1.23 (full size is 150ml for $20.50). A unique concept in hair care this spray-in treatment provides 10 benefits to all hair types, from shine and frizz control to colour fade protection and UVA/UVB protection. The one hair solution you have always dreamt of, Uniq One All In One Hair Treatment adds shine to the hair and controls frizz whilst adding silky smoothness and enviable body and volume. I have recently received a fair bit of hair products lately (and I don't use much!) so I am going to pass this on.

Eyeko Black Magic Mascara ~ sample size 4 ml for $12 (full size 8ml for $24). Combines three key elements to create drama, volume and curl, packaged into our iconic squeezy tube. Our new curvaceous brush lifts, curls and volumizes for supreme lash perfection with a water-resistant, carbon black finish. I am little disappointed receiving this item as I just got it last month in the LouLou TopBox.

I don't use round brushes often so I found this a little messy (clearly). When picking a mascara I generally look for something that is thickening over lengthening and curling - if you are looking for curl and length this is a good formula. It wasn't clumping and didn't require much combing out.

For about $12 - I received 4 products (all sample size) with a value of $31.04. This box was decent for me - I will use the primer, mascara and eslor products. I do wish I got a different make-up product other than something I received in a previous box.

I also received a $10 off $30 or more on cosmetics at London Drugs - it expires tomorrow (i'm still trying to catch up getting home from vacation!) but I try and cut down on my other cosmetic purchases with all these boxes!

Do you get Topbox? What did you think of this month's box?
