I was so excited when I was in Italy to pick up some products by Kiko Milano and I've been using a few of them and enjoying them! I have to apologize in advance to my Canadian readers - these don't ship from Italy to Canada, but they are available at Ulta in the U.S. (which also sadly, never resumed shipping to Canada, but if you are planning a trip to the States, you could pick up a few things!)
I purchased everything in this post - this post contains affiliate links
I found a little Kiko Store in Rome and was able to pick up a few things from their Festival Glow line - this was their Summer 2022 collection and the products are glowy! They are all about glowy skin, sparkly eyes and water proof products - I only picked up a few things as I was travelling by carryon only or I would have pick up more!
Here's a closer look at the few products I was able to pick up:
Kiko Milano Festival Glow 3D Blush in 01 Rosy Sand ~ 16.99 €/$19.99 US. The KIKO Milano Festival Glow 3D Blush is an ultra-sensorial compact blush with a radiant finish.
This is such a gorgeous formula - it has a stunning "prism-like" finish on the skin so that it applies and smoothy on the skin and has a reflective pearly, luminous finish!
Also, this is such a gorgeous shade - I'm not sure I have anything like it in my collection! It's got a beautiful, rose bronze finish. I love the shimmery reflective finish.
Here's a look at Rosy Sand applied to the cheeks - this is a little heavy of an application, but this is so pretty. The shade is gorgeous and what's great with this, is it almost doubles as a highlighter too - it offers a nice reflect on the cheeks and looks great on!
Kiko Milano Festival Glow Back On Stage Eyeshadow Palette in 01 Purple Rain ~ 14.99 €. Palette consisting of 4 eyeshadows with a matte and metallic finish. Ideal for highlighting your eyes with an attractive look.
This is a gorgeous quad - it contains two matte eyeshadows, one metallic and the other with a marble effect. I loved this colour story and the packaging of this collection is really pretty.
Here's a look at the four shadows swatched - the mattes are a really nice formula, the shimmer is smooth and reflective and the marble shadow is creamy and reflective. I've tried a few other shadows I picked up at the Kiko store and the formula is good, but I have to say this quad was the best formula I tried from them! I actually really liked it!
Here's a quick look that I came up with using this quad - I used the lightest matte as the base, the deep matte in the outer corner as well as blended through the crease. Then I used the marble shadow all over the lid (stunning) and the shimmer in the inner corner!
Kiko Milano Festival Glow Metallic Loose Eyeshadow in 03 Bronze Whale ~ 9.99 €. Intensifying your eyes with irresistible, glamorous reflections.
I thought this would be really cool to try - a pretty bronze loose shadow with a gorgeous finish. However, you can tell by this picture that it was super messy and got all over the place - even with an applicator in it, it was too hard to use.
Here's a look at the shadow swatched - it gorgeous, I love this color. I just wish the formula itself wasn't so hard to use!
Kiko Milano Festival Glow Water-Resistent Eyebrow Definer in 03 Medium Brown ~ 8.99 €. Tinted eyebrow gel ideal for enhancing, defining and fixing the eyebrows in just one step.
I love the idea of this - a brow gel that is water resistant. It has a light-weight texture with a natural finish. I was a little surprised when I opened this up and didn't see a spoolie for application; but, this does cling to the brows, it is just a little pickier in application and their can't be too much on the tip.
Here's a look at Medium Brown swatched on me - you can see it applied with the tip or gripped on with the sides.
Here's a look at both the loose shadow and the brow definer on - I placed the shadow on the middle of the lid and the brow definer in the brows. The shadow is super reflective and pretty on the eyes - it is perfect for that Summer Glow makeup look. And, while the brow definer took me a minute to figure it out I did like how it looked on the brows (despite this picture, it did look quite natural when applied lightly!)
Here's a look at the makeup look with all the products on - I actually love this collection and thought everything here was really pretty. They were all pretty and fit the theme of that Glowy Summer Vibes they were going for. Everything looked great on - the only thing is I hope they can improve the packaging of the loose shadow so it doesn't come out as the applicator is removed and then it would be perfect!
Have you tried anything from Kiko Milano before?! I wish it were more readily available - hopefully a Canadian retailer can pick up the brand or a retailer can ship to Canada as I'm certainly interested in their future collections!
The only thing I was able try from KIKO was a nail polish and it was through a beauty swap. Super nice formula, but I have heard and seen so many good things about the KIKO makeup products that one day I will try them because that quad and blush look amazing.
ReplyDeleteI'm really hoping they come to Canada soon or someone ships it because I'm really impressed and want more!!!
