I'm a big fan of Jillian Harris, so when she announced that she was starting a subscription box, I was so excited! The box started with the Winter 2019 box and sadly, I was not one of the lucky originals who won a subscription spot, so I sign up every season and hope to get picked for a lottery spot!

The Jilly Box is a quarterly seasonal subscription box - the products within the box include some of Jillian’s (and Team Jilly’s!) favourite items (and brands) from home decor, fashion, bath and beauty, health and wellness, accessories perfect for each season. Some of the items included will be custom designed exclusively for the Jilly Box. The Jilly Box really focuses on including products from small, local businesses while being ethically sourced and inclusive. They also focus on reducing plastic waste and packaging - the big boxes can be turned inside out and reused! Also, they try to include Canadian, woman owned brands, as well as Bipoc and LGBTQ owned brands as well.
The Jilly Box is $199 CAN quarterly + taxes and includes free shipping to Canada and the U.S. And, while this is on the pricier end for a subscription box, it will contain at least $400 worth of products each season! The box is shipped out prior to the start of each season - so the Fall box shipped in mid-August, the Winter box will ship in mid-November, the Spring box will ship in mid-February, and the Summer box will ship mid-May! (This season's box was a little late from the shipping delays everywhere and waiting on a product to arrive!)
The box always includes a little booklet that includes information about each product, recipes, interviews with makers and more! Here is a closer look at all the products in the Fall 2022 Jilly Box:
Q for Quinn for the Jilly Box Organic Cotton Socks ~ $24.00 CAN. You will fall in love with these oh-so-cozy Organic Cotton Socks designed exclusively for The Jilly Box! Made from super soft organic terry cotton with a flat toe seam, they are free of BPA, parabens, and other toxins making them gentle on your skin and our planet!
These socks are super cute and soft - they are high enough to peek out of short hunters or winter boots and I love the little striped detail on them. These are designed in Canada and made in Portugal. But also, with every pair of socks sold, they also donate a meal to someone in need through Mary's Meals - I love a brand that gives back!
Province of Canada for The Jilly Box Bonjour Cushion Cover ~ $84.00 CAN. Designed, cut, and sewn right here in Canada with 100% cotton, this 20x20 heather grey and white flocking print brings a timeless aesthetic to any home!
The Bonjour font is a staple in this Canadian brand's clothing line and Jillian Harris noted that she really wanted to see it on a piece of home decor. I actually have a lot of grey in the house, and this fit over one of my grey pillows and looks really cute on my couch!
Cool To Connect For The Jilly Box Connection Cards ~ $37.00 CAN. This deck of 52 interactive cards includes a question that will help you connect with those around you a little bit more. Not only will you be laughing out loud at some of the questions included, but I guarantee you'll learn something new about those you think you know best!
These are cute - I don't think I've seen anything like this in a subscription box before, so they are really unique. This brand has a whole bunch of different types of decks and this one is a mix of fun, lighthearted questions and deeper questions!
Eralume Northern Woods Outdoor Spray ~ $17.00 CAN. Spend more time enjoying the outdoors and less worrying about bugs with the Northern Woods Outdoor Spray from Eralume. Free of harmful ingredients, you will love the refreshing combination of organic eucalyptus, lemon, lavender, and cedarwood oil.
This is a bug spray - I couldn't quite figure it out from the packaging, as it more describes itself as an outdoor spray. I like the idea of natural, so we will wait and see if this actually works for us (we get eaten alive by bugs, and even the strongest sprays don't stop!) What's cool about this brand is that they offer refills for their products too.
Lstn Sound Co. For The Jilly Box Wanderlust Travel Speaker ~ $127.00 CAN. The perfect choice for music on the go! Not only is this handheld speaker super easy to carry (it's small and comes with a string to hang it anywhere!), it also provides an incredibly huge sound!
This is said to be louder than some cheaper speaker options and this colour was designed with Jillian fo this box. It's cute and I am excited to see if it's better than a few other ones I've received. This brand also donates to a hearing foundation to assist people who need hearing aids.
Grosche International Melbourne Eco Friendly French Press Coffee Maker ~ $60.00 CAN. A glass, cork and bamboo French press, the Melbourne is a classy and unique design sure to please.
I typically don't french press my coffee - I've been big in to cold brewing, but this one is so pretty, I'm thinking I might give it a try in the Fall when I need some warm coffee! I love the look of this one, and French press coffee is delicious! This is the number 1 eco-coffee maker with a real cork base, all glass body and renewable bamboo for the lid.
Miir 16 oz. Insulated Tumbler ~ $35.00 CAN. Grab and never let go of our Tumbler. With a hand feel known to make hearts skip a beat, it draws eyes with an understated silhouette and glorious powder coat finish. Fitting comfortably in cupholders and daily routines alike, the Tumbler flexes to any beverage you fancy while impressively maintaining its temperature.
These tumblers are great for anything outside - they keep hot beverages hot and cold beverages cold. It uses vacuum insulation and a press-on lid. In this box you could either receive a white or light pink one; I got the white one! I'm happy to use this.
Canada West Maple 200 mL Pure Maple Syrup Flask ~ $11.00 CAN. Tapped from Northern Ontario sugar maple trees each spring, this syrup is rich and full of maple flavour. We take pride in making our wood fired syrup which slowly caramelizes the maple syrup, giving it a flavour that is unmatched in depth and taste.
I love maple syrup so this is a good little addition to the box - I think it fits in with the cozy, Fall theme and this will not go wasted in my house, we go through a good amount of syrup in this house!
Laid Back Snacks C'mon Cinnamon ~ $7.00 US. This nutty medley is long on flavour with just the right amount of salty and sweet roasted in. Cashews give you an extended energy boost and help support the immune system, almonds help us build strong bones, and pecans are heart healthy. C'mon Cinnamon, let's get spicey!
I always like the addition of snacks or something, and these are perfect for this box! I love the combination and they are delicious - I might load up on a few other types on their website too!
Overall, I like this season's box - it's not my favourite as some of the items are things I may already have (just elevated), but it does feel like a good Fall box! While the box is pretty indulgent at $200 a quarter, but this box came with a value of $402! Some of the products were specifically designed with Jillian Harris for this box with exclusive colours and I always think that it adds a nice touch!
