I'm so excited for today's review because you guys should know I love wild skincare gadgets and masks! I tried a full LED face mask last year (it was sort of a shield mask, as it was a more affordable style and I really enjoyed it and thought I saw good results using it!)

So, when CurrentBody reached out and asked if they could send me the LED Eye Perfector for consideration, of course my answer was "hell yes!" This is a well shaped, fitted LED eye mask and I love including technology and different products in to my routine.
If I'm being honest, I'm really trying to "age naturally" - this is no shade to anyone who gets botox, fillers, etc, I'm actually really terrified of needles so I'm almost too afraid to go there! So, I'm will truly invest in products and my routine up front in hopes that I'm slowing that process a little. (Also, I am only 36 years old and I really think we all need to give ourselves grace and be comfortable - I am showing some smile lines, and the lines under my eyes are starting to be a little more prominent, so just targeting those sounds great!)
CurrentBody Skin LED Eye Perfector Review ~ $295.00 CAN. The CurrentBody Skin LED Eye Perfector uses 4 powerful LED wavelengths to target the eye crow's feet, 11 lines (i.e. frown lines), eye bags and dark circles under your eyes. Firm, plump and add elasticity with quick daily light therapy sessions. Clinically proven technology with 4 LED wavelengths hits the deeper layers of your skin to ramp up collagen production and kick-start skin healing.
This is a great eye mask - it is rechargeable and comes with a stand which makes it super handy to keep close by and recharge when needed. The mask is a soft texture inside that holds well on the face and has an adjustable strap to fit really well on to the face. (I can't believe I didn't take a picture, but check out the video on my instagram today and I show off the whole mask and it in use).
What's great is this is pre-programmed for three minutes, so it's a super quick addition in to the routine right after washing and drying your face before applying the rest of your routine! CurrentBody recommends using this at least 6 days a week to see better, more youthful-looking eye skin in just 8 weeks.
I will say - this is a powerful LED light (these are eye-safe from the brand, but they do also include goggles if you prefer to wear those too) - my husband has really sensitive eyes, and he couldn't even wear this with his eye closed. Personally, it doesn't affect me, but if you have overly sensitive eyes, it is probably something you should consider. Now, the power of the lights made me realize that the cheaper face mask I purchased last year did not have nearly the same amount of power that something that is a bit more of an investment!
So, I have been using this at least 5 nights per week for the past 6 weeks, so not the full suggested length to see results, but I'm enjoying this overall. I do think that this is a good addition to my preventative skincare routine while slowly and effectively targeting my eye area specifically. I do think this will offer results as I've read some articles on the effects of LED lights. This isn't a snake oil, where you will see instant results, but for someone like me who is just trying to slow or stay on top of aging signs, that is a great gadget to incorporate routine if it viable for you. (I say that because she is a bit of an upfront investment, but it's a great, quick little addition to my routine!)
Also, if you are interested in picking up anything from CurrentBody Skin, I have a code RENEECB to add in and save yourself 10% off!
Have you tried something like this, or would you consider it?
