Monthly Beauty Favourites - June 2022

Here's a look at what I've been loving this past month:

I used to always have pick 5 products each month for my Monthly Favourites, but that is one thing I'm changing this year - whatever I'm loving, I will share whether it's 2 or 10 products!

Most of these products are newer that I'm getting in to using - here's a closer look at what I've been loving this month:

Yves Saint Laurent Nu Lip & Cheek Balmy Tint with Hyaluronic Acid in Nu Peach ~ $35.00 CAN. A creamy, tinted, two-in-one lip balm and cheek blush that blends seamlessly for a natural-looking flush of hydrating color that feels lightweight on skin.

This is a cream blush and lip balm and it's gorgeous - I jumped on the chance to pick up something from the YSL Nu line because it's affordable for a luxury brand and I love the refreshing package! I've done a full review and try on with this product - you can check it out here if you are interested! 

This is a nice sheerer colour, but still with a good payoff on the cheeks with a little bit of a glowy finish and it's so perfect for a Summer makeup look. It's a little squeeze tube bottle and you could apply this right from the tube to fingers to cheeks or lips - I will personally use a palette or the back of my hand and apply with a brush as my preferred application. The texture is nice and light and the shade Nu Peach is gorgeous! Also, a little stretches out well so this will last a long time! 

JVN Complete Conditioning Mist ~ $24.00 CAN - (also available for $18.00 US on jvnhair.com). A leave-in for frizz free hydration & detangling. Instantly hydrate, remove frizz, and detangle your hair with this leave-in Conditioning Mist packed with a moisture multiplying complex for clean, effective haircare. Perfect for all hair types.

This is a leave in conditioning product that can be used on wet or dry hair - wet hair to detangle and hydrate and dry hair to refresh dry hair or ends! It is meant to detangle, hydrate and strengthen hair, and it's sooo good! I was lucky enough to receive this early in June and honestly, dumped the last teeny bit of a previous mist I was using because I knew I was only going to use this! It's just nice and lightweight does the job and leaves hair super soft and frizz free! Again, I've shared a full review on this and you can see it on me here if you're interested! 

Cheekbone Unify Multi-Pencil in 02 Fair ~ $24.00 CAN. A lightweight shade-correcting pigment crafted to blend perfectly with your skin tone. This multitasking pencil can be used as a facial highlighter, for contour sculpting, full-face application, as a priming base for eyeshadow, and more. 

I received these a few months ago and have been using them steadily since then - a nice, solid concealer that lasts. But, they started to be a true stand out on my trip to Italy in May and Penticton in June because they can stand up to humidity so well! This is a great formula, it's solid but blends out nicely and offers good coverage without being cakey. The wear time in particular over blemishes in the heat and humidity was what made it a standout to me - this just lasted longer and didn't budge even in those conditions! Perfect for Summer!
