I'm switching up my Monthly Haul posts a little bit this year, because I'm actually *trying* to stick to a bit of a budget! I've been going a little crazy on the beauty and books front, so I just want to be a little more thoughtful in my purchases. So. I'm trying to keep my beauty and book purchases to $200 a month - we'll see!
XO Treatment Room Order ~ $74.55 CAN. If you've been around here for a while, you know this is my hands down holy grail Vitamin C serum. I use it every day and I will only use one other brand (Paula's Choice), so naturally I just finished one of each of those, so here's my backup. This is $89, so I had a little bit of a balance in my paypal so I saved a little bit this time around!
Indigo Preorder ~ $14.16. I've enjoyed Katrina Leno's previous books so I was really excited to pick this up - she does seaside town so perfectly for Summer, so I cannot wait to read this one this Summer!
Urban Outfitters Order ~ $44.05 CAN. Okay, someone recommended this spot treatment and for some reason I couldn't resist looking for it. When I found it on Urban Outfitters, I did some cruising on the site and that's when I found out that Orly did a collaboration with Lisa Frank and I needed to have these!
Facebook Find ~ $10.00 CAN. Okay, I have really been wanting to add this to my collection of illustrated Harry Potter books - I've been struggling to buy anything that would give J.K. Rowling my money directly, so I found this one used on Facebook and couldn't resist (also, I know that may not be what everyone agrees with), but I do love these stories.
BellBees Mystery Box ~ $75.00 CAN. It's been a long time since I've ordered a mystery box, but I couldn't resist with BellBees - you can see a full unboxing and thoughts here!
London Drugs Pick ~ $14.69 CAN. I have been needing to pick up my favourite banana powder as the one I'm using is dwindling down. This is by far my favourite formula, so happy to use this one right away!
Book Between Friends Picks ~ $7.00 CAN. This is easily my favourite used book store, the hardcovers are $4 and the paperbacks are $3 - these were both on my wishlist, so happy to have them both for a much more reasonable price!
Facebook Find ~ $5.00 CAN. Another book that was highly anticipated this year that I found on Marketplace for only $5 - I like Heather O'Neill's writing so I'm looking forward to reading this one.
Wild is the Witch Order ~ $14.72 CAN. This was supposed to be an August release, but she got released a little early, so when I took advantage of the buy 3, get 1 free, I got a bunch of pre-orders and this one will arrive this week while I'm at the cabin!
I do always love my Monthly Haul posts - it's a good way to keep track of everything that I picked up each month. I don't always blog about everything I pick up (I try to), but if you ever spot anything in here that you really want me to talk about, let me know!

So I spent $259.17 this month - this is *the most* I've gone over this year since I've been more strict about my budget! Whoops - will get it together next month!
