Five on Friday - December 31, 2021 ~ Christmas, The Book of Boba Fett, Pages Bookstore and Declutter

Happy Friday everyone! I hope you all have a great week - it's been around -25 degrees this whole week and my husband's car broke down, so we've been hunkered down inside avoiding the cold as much as possible!

Can we believe that it is already December 31?! I hope you all have a great New Years and ring in 2022 in a safe and fantastic way!

ONE

I purchased everything in this post

The highlight of this week of course was Christmas! I'm a huge Christmas person and our holiday was so great! We spent Christmas Eve with Mitch's family and had a great night and Christmas morning was amazing - the boys loved their gifts and did so well. My husband had to work, but then my family came over and we had an amazing crab leg dinner and it was great!

TWO

I also had a lovely Christmas myself - I got a gorgeous new bag, it is the Michael Kors "Jet Set Large Saffiano Leather Shoulder Bag" (it's not available, but it was an amazing sale!) I also got some books I was hoping for, coffee, bowls, lots of wine and great little gifts! Such a great day!

THREE

Ahhh - more Star Wars geekiness coming attcha! Did you guys watch The Book of Boba Fett starting this week?! The first episode was really good - I'm excited to see more! (It will tie me over until The Mandalorian starts again!) Also, I watched The Tiger King Doc Antle documentary and damn, that was pretty mindblowing too! Whoa!

FOUR

I did another yearly declutter - I just got rid of some nail stickers I wasn't using, culled my lip products a little more, and a few other products that were getting old or were just unused!

FIVE

My sister was in town for the week, so we got one day to sneak out and go for lunch and do a little shopping. We went to Kensington and had delicious Indian food for lunch at Indie Counterculture. Then we checked out a few cute little shops - I found some fun, used books at Pages and had a great little afternoon!

I hope you all have a great weekend and a Happy New Year!

  1. Oh I love Kensington! It was one of my favourite places to go to when I visited Calgary eons ago! I am also excited to watch The Book of Boba Fett! I wanted to watch my 100th movie of the year before starting any of the new series that have launched including The Witcher and now that I have watched my movie, I am going to gorge on those two! Happy New Year!

    1. I loved your 100 movie challenge - I'm totally that person that just watches old movies over and over! I still need to get in to The Witcher too!
