I purchased all the products in this post
I have been keeping up my Monthly Makeup Baskets throughout this pandemic; but, I think after curating my collection a little bit better, I will probably stop doing these next year! So, this might be my last Monthly Makeup Basket for a while! (Also, should I just call this the month of Sleeping Beauty products?!)
Here are the products I'm focusing on for December:
- Besame Briar Rose Blush Palette ~ this is such a gorgeous palette from the Besame x Sleeping Beauty collection - I love the colours, and the highlighters are so pretty in here (I need to use the blushes more, but I love this one!)
- Natasha Denona Mini Blush and Glow - I love this pretty little duo so much since I picked it up and it's so pretty - you can see a full review on it here! I brought this along for my trip to Vancouver and I still love using this!
- ColourPop Coronation Pressed Powder Highlighter ~ Oh look, another Aurora product in my collection! This is a beautiful shade and a great highlighter - love this one!
- E.L.F. Putty Blush in Turks and Caicos ~ This is a newer product in my collection - I just picked it up and love it (you can see a recent review if you are interested!) But, I have been getting more in to cream formulas and really like this one!
- Besame Aurora Disney Princess Signature Compact ~ This is my newest Aurora product - this was a very limited release in the Signature Compact series and it's lovely. The packaging is stunning and the shade is pretty!
I'm excited to focus on all of these this month!

And, before I start the new Monthly Makeup Basket, here is a recap of what I focused on for the previous two months:
- Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter in Rose Glow ~ this is past favourite highlighter - it's gorgeous highlighter and I love the hint of pink on the cheeks!
- Illamasqua Beyond Powder Highlighter in Deity ~ This is such a gorgeous highlighter - it's very shimmery and has this gorgeous illuminating finish! (I didn't reach for this one as much as I should have, but it's lovely)
- Danessa Myricks Beauty Vision Flush Blush, Eyeshadow and Lip Color in Bread 'n Butter ~ this is a newer product to me and I love that it is multi-use - I have only tried it a little on my cheeks, so I was excited to test it out more. It's quite a thin formula, but it looks pretty on!
- Cheekbone Beauty Face Palette in Stardust ~ this is a gorgeous face palette and it made my September Favourites last year - I really love Cheekbone Beauty and I love this set. They have since reformulated this line, so I can't speak to the new formula yet, but I love the shades in this palette!
- Note Cosmetics Luminous Silk Compact Blusher in Desert Rose ~ this was a past favourite I received it in a past subscription; but, I honestly forget about it when I'm not putting it in these baskets - it's a lovely shade and I great formula, so I should reach for it more!
How do you guys focus on your older products? I'm not quite sure how I will make sure I use my older products without a dedicated monthly basket yet!

Last weekend, we paid a little visit to the Calgary Farmer's market and picked up some new goodies and they had some of Santa's Reindeer outside - they were so cute and Elliott loved them (but also noted how big their horns were, so stayed back).

Did you guys do any Black Friday shopping done?! I didn't do much myself, but I did cash in my Optimum points on their extra bonus redemption, so that I could get myself a Nintendo Switch Lite for only $20 and I love it! I got some good Mario games and it's so good!! Worth the points for sure!

Here's a little look at my declutter for November - I picked up the Essence palettes and they looked great, but I just haven't reached for them, plus they are redundant in my collection. I also am tossing the Colourpop shadow sticks, and a few other things, including the Bali Body Tanning Mousse (which is good, but I prefer the gradual lotion!)
