Halloween Makeup - Gwen Stacy Ghost Spider Makeup Look

Happy Halloween everyone! If you guys have been around for a few years, you know we take our Halloweens pretty seriously (or at least - I take my Halloween pretty seriously and everyone else in the house puts up with it!)

I do try and plan my costumes around what my kids want to be and when Elliott said that he wanted to be something from the Spiderverse (it was Spiderman for quite a while), I knew that I wanted to be Gwen Stacy in her Spider costume - Ghost Spider!

I love the pink and white and I'm a big fan of the Into The Spiderverse movie - I know Gwen is in lots of versions, but I love the Spiderverse where she is from an alternate world! I'm really happy with how my makeup version of her mask turned out!

Here's a look at the progress of the look! For years I just settled for cheap Halloween makeup, but honestly, after using the Mehron makeup, it's totally worth it to splurge - the coverage is excellent and these lasted 8 hours yesterday, and I'm going for 12 today and it's help up really well! I just used little brushes to paint the shape of the eyes, painted the white and pink in, and outlined and made a web with the liquid eyeliner!

The products I used for the eye look are:

-Pat McGrath Labs MTHRSHP Subversive La Vie En Rose Eyeshadow Palette
-Lit Glitter in Cotton Candy and Glitter Base
-Makeup Geek Full Spectrum Eye Liner in Plumeria

For this eye look, I used the Pat McGrath and Quintessence palette to create a pink smokey eye look, and I used the Plumeria liner for eye liner and to fill in my brows (and the pink eyeshadow over top) - then, I used the pink glitter to liner the lower lash line! Then I finished the mascara!

"Alright, people. Let’s start at the beginning. My name is Gwen Stacy. I was bitten by a radioactive spider. And for the last two years, I've been the one and only Spider-Gwen. You guys know the rest. I joined a band. Saved my dad. I couldn’t save my best friend, Peter Parker. So now I save everyone else. And I don’t do friends anymore. Just to avoid any distractions."

Make sure you check out my Instragram to check out what the family is all dressing up as tonight!
