Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend - it was finally reasonable here this weekend, instead of melting hot and we had lots of family time, so it was a good weekend!
I purchased all the products featured
We are in to the swing of Summer and I always love Summer nails - the CBBxManiMonday group is keeping it nice and easy over the next two months and we are just going to do fun, Summer nails, however we interpret that!
My first thought for Summer nails was Summer Skies - picture yourself by a river, beach or mountains watching the sun set and seeing all the perfect pinks and purples and lovely colour the sky turns in the Summer, plus I've been seeing cloud nails everywhere and had the perfect wraps to add a quick touch to these!
The products I used for this weeks manicure are:
- Revlon Ultra HD Snap! polish in Get Real
- Trust Fund Beauty polish in I'm Kind Of A Big Deal
- Go Scratch It Take Flight nail wraps
And, for the gradient, I used a little makeup triangle sponge.
For this mani, I started out with two coats of pink polish as the base. Then, using the triangle sponge, I painted around my nail size, half purple and half pink, slightly overlapping the polishes and dotted them on to my nails - this is not quick, I probably had to do each nails around 5 times to get the coverage I liked (maybe it would have worked better with a white base, but I'm still getting the hand of gradient!). Then, I applied just the cloud wraps to my nails and finished with a nail art polish - I love how they turned out together!
