Skincare Sunday - NEW Lush Jelly Face Mask "Bunny Moon" Try-on and Review!

Okay, what's better than a NEW type of mask from Lush?! It's no secret around here that I am mask addict and a total Lushie, so when I saw Lush announce their new Jelly Face Masks - I had to run out and get one! I took a lot of self-control to not pick up all 4 right away! 

Lush Jelly Face Mask "Bunny Moon" ~ $13.95 CAN. Everybunny's a bit sensitive now and then, so if your skin's feeling a bit tender or sore, treat it to this gentle, gold-dusted mask. Loads of soothing, syrupy honey lock moisture into skin, while rose, chamomile and vanilla relieve irritation and leave skin feeling balanced again. There, there: you'll have calm, clear skin before long.

These Jelly Masks are so cool! If you have tried Lush's shower jellies, then this will be a similar texture to you, just a little creamier and thicker! I love using different masks and I think your skincare routine should be an enjoyable process instead of feeling like a chore - masks like this are so fun to use! 


I have sensitive skin, so I love a mask that is gentle and soothing for my skin! I have talked many times about how honey in masks does wonders in smoothing and softening my skin! Also, how cute is this with little gold specks in there too! 

This mask is just like most rinse off masks - use after washing your face. Pinch or scoop up a little of the mask and work it between your fingers until it turns creamy/paste-like, then smooth over your skin, leave on for 10 minutes, then rinse off. 

Another fun fact about the Jelly Face Masks is that they were all inspired by and created for a badass Lush babe - the Bunny Moon mask was created for one of the co-founders daughters who manages their flagship store in London! I love that these are all about Girl Power! 

This smooths out quickly in the fingers and turns in to a creamy paste - once it's applied it was soft to wear. It did dry down a little, but didn't feel tight on the skin. It was soft to wear. The only thing was that it was a little difficult to rinse off (if you have ever used a Lush Fresh Face Mask, then it is similar to rinsing those off), so maybe just use a facecloth and gently rinse off or it will take you a few rinses with water and your hands! 

This made my skin much softer right away (as well as brighter even though it wasn't really mentioned) which I loved! The next morning my skin felt really hydrated and smooth! I loved this and can't wait to try the other Jelly Face Masks!
