Happy Manicure Monday - hope you all had a great weekend (and are enjoying the long weekend Monday!)
I've been seeing these little flower french mani tips everywhere lately and I wanted to jump on the bandwagon and give it a try! I did a light peachy-pink base with purple flowers on the tips (in hindsight, I could have used different colours, but the contrast between the base and the flowers is a little more prominent in person!)
The CBBxManiMonday group is keeping up with our theme of May Flowers for the whole month!
- Morgan Taylor in Curls & Pearls
- Trust Fund Beauty Nail Polish in Elegantly Wasted
- Orly Instant Artist Lacquer in Crisp White
And, for this mani, I used a nail dotting tool to create the flowers!
For this manicure, I started with a base coat, and then the base polish took 3 coats to be opaque and then I let that dry well. Then, with the nail dotting tool, I dotted on purple flowers just on the tips of my nails and dotted some white centres in them. Then, I finished with nail art polish.
This was a super easy nail look and nice and quick - it wasn't exactly what I was going for, but I think it was just because of the colours that I chose! But, still cute. As always, make sure to check out Cosmetic Proof and Prairie Beauty Love to see their floral nails too!
