May 2020 What I Bought - Monthly Haul!

I set one of my 2020 goals to be actually sticking to my $100 a month Beauty Budget - last year I attempted this and didn't do so well, so I'm actually trying to be a little more strict on myself! I really want to make sure that I can use and enjoy the products I have in my collection and that I will really use the products I picked up! 

I always love my Monthly Haul posts to share with you everything I picked up (since I can't review everything I buy)! I also am trying to hold myself a little more accountable to buying products that I really want and will actually use!

But, this month I ran in to my first conundrum with my budget, where I had some replacement items to purchase (I usually buy them with Shopper's points, so I did make this decision that straight repurchase items will not count towards my monthly budget (but I have to be reasonable about this!)

Nails Inc Order ~ $59.10 CAN. I'm so impatient that I could not wait for this Nails Inc (or Inc.Redible) mask set to come in to stock on Sephora (and I ordered an extra set for my Blogiversary giveaway and it would not have arrived in time from Sephora). Plus, how gorgeous is this Freshly Juiced polish set?! These are stunning polish shades for the Summer! Also, as part of the order, the Girl King polish set came for free. 

Lush Kitchen Subscription ~ $94.05 CAN. I was sooooo excited when I saw that Lush Kitchen (the sort of experimental part of Lush) was changing it up and offering a subscription service! I'm a huge Lushie, so I had to check this out! It's a little pricey for Canadians with shipping and the conversion, but I can't wait! This was a total impulse buy, but no regrets! (Also, I love that you can skip a month with this subscription!)

Sephora Order ~ $0.00 (regular $69.30 CAN). So this was the order of replacements - I am on my last few sprays of my pillow mist, so I thought I would try a new brand out! I also placed an order for dry shampoo because I don't have anymore full size dry shampoos (I do have travel size ones, but I don't like to use those at home!). I only ordered this when I was getting right to the end, I didn't even get it during the sale because I didn't need it then! My add on wad a big pack of samples and there is actually some products I want to try in there! 

Graydon Order ~ $0.00 (regular $63.00 CAN). This was another repurchase - I do not have any full size shampoos and conditioners left (I know I purchased 2 of each, but I really wanted the free shipping!) I loved these Graydon products last year, so when they offered 40% off to first responders, I knew I had to pick up some shampoo and conditioner as I'm running out of the ones I have! So excited to use these again! 

So, I've been going over my little budget just a touch, so I started May with a little less than $100, I had $64.51. I ended up spending $153.15 this month, which means going in to June with $11.36 CAN for the month! Oh man, wish me luck!
