March 2020 What I Bought - Monthly Haul!

Happy haul day everyone! Early this year, I set one of my 2020 goals to be actually sticking to my $100 a month Beauty Budget - are you ready to see if I was able to do this?!?

I always love my Monthly Haul posts to share with you everything I picked up (since I can't review everything I buy)! I also am trying to hold myself a little more accountable to buying products that I really want and will actually use!

I purchased everything in this post

Facebook Auction Find ~ $10.00 CAN. This was a brand new mist I picked up on an auction and this was a product that has been huge on my to-try list! This is a full sized product that is regular $37, so I was pretty excited to pick it up!

Sweet As Candy Girl Power ~ $15.75 CAN. (This is only for the cost of the bubble bath - the candle is part of the girl power collab, but not a beauty purchase so I don't have the cost included!) I shared a little bit about this International Women's Day collaboration on a past Five on Friday post! This is an amazing smelling bubble bath that is donating half of proceeds to the Calgary Immigrant Women's Association for the whole month of March!

Shopper's Drug Mart Haul ~ $5.96 CAN (regular price $45.96). I used some PC Optimum points for this haul and I really needed a new cleansing balm (because if you saw the post where I reviewed the Indeed Labs Watermelon Melting Balm, you know there was another balm cleanser that was no-good!) I also picked up the Wet n Wild foundation as a back up because it's a favourite! And, I love trying these pimple patches and this was a new brand to me and it's a big pack, so I hope they are good!

Aveeno Masks ~ $8.30 CAN. I was picking up some products at Walmart for my co-workers and I came across these - any yes, right now my hands and feet are so dry and need some love, so I'm going to use those right away!

Sally Hansen Jelly Belly set ~ $13.64 CAN. I have been trying to hunt down this nail polish set since I saw that Sally Hansen collabed with Jelly Belly again for an Easter collection! It's not up online yet, but it is physically at Shopper's Drug Marts. I think these are so pretty and can't wait to use them!

The Potion Masters Bath Spell ~ $42.00 CAN. Alright, I know this is pricey and I was expecting a bit bigger of a jar, but I'm not mad - this sounds so lovely. I found this local brand with an online promotion for free shipping. They have these lovely Bath Spells and I picked up the Peace one because who doesn't need a little pick me up right now?! This should be good for 6-10 baths, so that's a good amount of baths!

Detox Market Haul ~ $17.01 CAN. I picked up a mini of the Kaia Naturals dry shampoo and cleansing wipes - these are compostable wipes and i'm trying to try a few compostable/earth friendly products, and I've heard good things about both of these products! Detox Market had a 10% off code plus free shipping on all orders right now, so I had to give them a try!

So, in March I only spent $112.66 for the month - woo hoo, I've got this! But, I started with $66.23 for the month as I dipped ahead a little early in January and now I'm catching up! So, I will have a $53.57 budget for April! I still think I'm doing pretty good sticking close to my budget!
