Mad Beauty Disney Star Wars Face Masks Set - Try on and Review

Happy Skincare Sunday! I'm kicking off a bit of a Disney themed week here because we are off to Disneyland tomorrow morning and will be there all week!

Mad Beauty Disney Star Wars Face Masks Set - Try on and Review
This set was purchased by me

When I saw the sneak peeks of these Star Wars masks from Made Beauty, I new I had to place an order and get them on my face ASAP! These were just released last month, so they are pretty new to the Mad Beauty line.

Mad Beauty has a ton of different printed masks (and other beauty and body products), and a ton of Disney products that are really unique! I've actually tried and reviewed both the Disney Villains and Disney Princesses mask sets and are hilarious masks - worth checking out! I'm always up for a fun, printed mask so these are right up my alley!

Mad Beauty Disney Star Wars Face Masks Set ~ £13.89/$19.06 US. An Imperial collection of Face Masks, a great gift for anyone in the galaxy. May the Face be with You! New To our range and with men in mind are the Star Wars Sheet Face Masks.

This is such a fun set, and I like that they did something outside of the typical character mask idea! Each mask has a different main ingredient for a different targeted skin concern.

These are currently only available on the Mad Beauty website that ships from the UK, so you will have to pay for shipping, but I do find they ship quickly! Also, some of the masks can be purchased through Amazon, but the newest releases are not on there yet!

If you were interested in trying out on of these masks, but didn't want the whole set, these masks are also available individually for £3.99 or $5.48 US. The packaging is just so well done with these masks - I'm always immediately drawn to them!

I was so excited to try these masks, that I moved masks around in my #100DaysofMasking to try these out as soon as I got them!

Chewbacca Coconut Face MaskThe Chewbacca mask infused with coconut oil to moisturise and bring out your inner Wookie

This did have a nice, light coconut scent with it and I loved it! Coconut is a nice, moisturizing ingredient!

These masks are easy to use: wash face and dry skin, apply toner, and apply mask, wear for 10-12 minutes, and rinse off after use, then complete skincare routine.

The print of this mask is so vibrant and wow - you can tell that I'm Chewbacca! Rarrrrrr! I always find the Mad Beauty masks fit really big on me, and this one was big, but it wasn't huge, so that was a bonus for me. It could use some tabs along the side to help it stay on. This is a thicker mask material due to the print so it lifted in a few spot (like under the chin), but it adhered well.

This wore for about 30 minutes (and I did not rinse off the essence, because it's a moisturizing mask and I don't see the need - I will rinse of if it's a cleansing or pore type mask, but these I want the essence in my skin!) I did think that this was hydrating on my skin!

Yoda Cucumber MaskCucumber it has! Cool the skin it will

The Yoda mask was definitely one I was looking forward to trying - who doesn't want to look like cute, little, old Yoda?! And, cucumber masks are nice and soothing and cooling on the skin.

This mask is applied the same way as the Chewbacca mask - wear for 10 to 12 minutes and rinse off the excess. Personally, again I left the essence on after removing the mask for added skin benefits - I want them to absorb all night!

Hilarious mask, this is. But actually, again, this mask was quite thick and it didn't fit on to my face as well as the Chewbacca mask. I couldn't quite get this one to smooth down as well so it's a mask I had to lay down and wear. But, I still managed to wear this for about 20 minutes and it did still make my skin really smooth and soft! (This also did have  a light cucumber scent).

Darth Vader Black Tea Face MaskBlack Tea Face mask , the force is strong in this one!

Tea masks are usually pretty good for brightening the skin and it has antioxidant benefits for the skin, but really the best part is that I get to run around the house quoting Darth Vader.

Mad Beauty Disney Star Wars Face Masks Set - Try on and Review

The Darth Vader mask is suggested to be used the same as the other 2 masks - wear for 10-12 minutes and to rinse after. Again, tea is a great ingredient for the skin, so I didn't rinse this essence off after wearing this mask.

This mask is big like the other masks - this one, like the Chewbacca mask could be folded up a little to fit the face. This did end up wearing well on the face for 30 minutes and made my skin look and feel good - bright and smooth!

C3PO Honey Face MaskHoney is known for its conditioning  properties, try the C3PO mask for a golden glow!

Honey is always a good mask ingredient - it's nourishing to the skin! I love the they picked C3PO for this collection and it feels very classic, but can we see an R2D2 and BB8 mask next please? How cute would those be?!

Again, this mask was suggested to be worn the same as the others in the set - 10 to 12 minutes, and rinse off again. Honey is a great ingredient for the skin, so this essence also stayed on my face and was not rinsed off (I'm not suggested you do this, I'm just saying why I did not rinse the essence off personally!)

Mad Beauty Disney Star Wars Face Masks Set - Try on and Review

This mask fit similarly to the Yoda mask - it is big and didn't smooth down and fold as well on to the skin as the Chewbacca and Yoda. This did wear for about 20 minutes and did leave the skin feeling really nourishing and soft!

Overall, this mask collection is so fun! I think overall the Mad Beauty masks are a bigger fit - they have fun prints, but likely need a bit bigger of a mask to put the whole print on! Also, the prints are super vibrant and the mask material is a little thicker than I generally prefer. But, with that said, despite the mask fit on me, I did still find these masks came with some benefits to the skin. They were smoothing and moisturizing, so they did deliver some results. And really, these are so fun! I always think products like these would make a fun gift or girl's night in activity (or guys night!)

  1. I love these!!! And OMG Chewbacca, lol!!!
I completely missed your Disney posts, and those look so much fun too. I definitely have to keep this brand in mind. Printed masks are so much fun to do, it's just too bad that the prints can make them stiff.
