April 2018 - What I Bought This Month!

Happy Monthly Shopping Haul time! I hope you guys enjoy seeing my shopping - for me it's a way of sharing everything I pick up; because, honestly I buy so much stuff that some doesn't get talked about at all until it appears in an empties post! But, if there is ever anything you want to see a full post on, just let me know and I will do it!

Also, I do "try" to stick to a monthly budget of $100, and these posts are supposed to keep me in check! (Haha - supposed to, being the key word! I am clearly a beauty addict!) I will only include products I have spent money on - gifts, pr samples, and freebies are usually shared on posts like my Five on Friday posts! 

Here is a look at what I bought in April:

Sweet As Candy Haul ~ $19.00 CAN. Sweet As Candy is a local Calgary bath company - how cute are these cake soaps?! And, I love how pretty the Mermaid Tail Bath Powder is! I can't wait to use these pretties! 

Sephora VIB Rouge Shopping Haul ~ $58.91 CAN. I think I was really reasonable during the 15% off VIB Rouge sale this month! I just finished my Shiseido facial cotton and had to restock! Also, this nose mask was new and I'm really interested in trying it! And, I have been eyeing this mini Fenty set forever because I have heard this gloss is amazing! And, I needed to try out the Laneige Lip Mask (this mini set was the best way to try this out and I like the night sleeping mask). 

Facebook Auction Find ~ $10.00 CAN. Yeeees - I picked up the ColourPop My Little Pony palette brand new for $10! The lady I picked it up off of included a bunch of samples and I cannot wait to try this palette out - it's so pretty! 

Lush Shopping ~ $3.40 CAN (was supposed to be $31.45). I have been dreaming about this spray for quite some time - it smells just like the Sleepy lotion (gentle lavender scent) and this smells great. It's considered a body spray; but, also highly recommended as a linen spray to promote relaxation and sleep as well (it's amazing!) Plus, Lush always throws in a little sample as well! 

The Face Shop Masks ~ $38.85 CAN. Okay, this is one of these purchases that I didn't even think about as I was doing it and then 10 minutes later I was like, what are you thinking?! I have sooo many masks and I went in to the store and they didn't have the 1 mask I was looking for (the foil mask) and then I ended with 15 different masks because it was buy 10, get 5 free. I actually considered returning these, but they are good for a few years and I will use them eventually!

Also, I subscribed to an additional 3 month subscription to Boxycharm for $98.00 CAN for April, May, and June - I don't even have a picture of the April box to show you yet because the April box hasn't arrived - I will chat about my experience with shipping and customer service whenever I receive my box. But, this is likely my last 3 months with them! 

So, for the month of April I spent $228.16 - I really suck at sticking to my "budget"! But, I am generally happy with everything I picked up this month! Anything you want to see reviewed?
