This post is a review of all the masks I use each month and mini reviews on all of them - I also consider the Month of Masks my Mask Empties post, because I do not feature my sheet masks in my monthly empties post! You can check out my past Month of Masks here!
My masking has really gone down this month (I think I have already explained my pure exhaustion as of late!), but here is a look at the masks I used during October:
October 2
The Face Shop Real Nature Avocado Face Mask ~ $2.00. Improve your skin's suppleness and elasticity with this Avocado Face Mask. Rich in nutrients, the hydrating serum contained in this mask is perfect for dry or very dry skin.
The Face Shop masks are my go-to inexpensive masks - they are easy to find and generally have some good sales with buy 10, get 5 free very often. I love this Avocado mask as it is so hydrating and makes my skin feel amazing!
Repurchase: Yes
October 5
Sephora Lip Mask "Shea" ~ $4.00. A line of soothing, leave-on lip masks to replenish, nourish, and moisturize lips in as little as 15 minutes.
The Shea mask is for protecting & repairing - it "protects and soothes to support lips that have been chapped or over dried". As scary as this lip mask looks; it worked really well! It is a thin gel mask and adhered well. It was very hydrating! I reviewed this on a Mask Wednesday post - you can see it here!
Repurchase: Yes, I think so
October 7
Vichy Double Glow Peel Mask ~ $34.00. Leaves skin glowing and radiant thanks to Vitamin C and its AHA and volcanic stone exfoliation.
This is a really quick 5 minute mask - apply the mask, leave on for 5 minutes, rub off in circular motions, and rinse off mask. I loved how gentle this was on my skin and it worked really well!
Repurchase: Will use the whole jar first, but likely
October 9
Vichy Quenching Mineral Skin Mask ~ $34.00. Instantly hydrates and soothes, while leaving skin feeling fresh thanks to its mineral rich formula and liquid gel texture.
Again a 5 minute mask, which is amazing! This is also really easy to use because it is a leave on mask - rub in to skin after 5 minutes! It is so hydrating and feels amazing on the skin!
Repurchase: Likely, again will finish this jar first
October 11
Vichy Pore Purifying Clay Mask ~ $34.00. Cleanses and refines pores thanks to Kaolin and Bentonite clay, leaving the skin feeling purified.
Again, as the other 2 vichy masks - this is another 5 minute mask. This is a clay based mask and you apply, rub in gently to the skin, leave on for 5 minutes, and rinse off. This mask was great because it was not drying on the skin at all. I reviewed all 3 Vichy masks on a Mask Wednesday post - you can see my full review on all 3 here!
Repurchase: Will finish the jar first!
October 15
Pur~lisse Beauty Blue Lotus + White Tea Sheet Mask ~ $8.00. This natural fiber mask infused with Blue Lotus, White Tea and restorative Asian botanicals delivers antioxidants and minerals to your skin. This power blend fights free radicals, improves skin texture while White Mulberry brightens and Anise helps firm skin, leaving complexion healthy, beautiful and youthful-looking.
I received these in a past Ipsy bag, and think I have gotten a few in swaps as well - I have done a past review on this mask here. This mask was a little thicker in material and fit okay on my face - it is a little big, but did adhere well and lasted quite a while!
Repurchase: Maybe - $8 a mask is pricey for 1 sheet mask
October 20
Nature Republic Real Nature Mask Sheet- Cucumber ~ $1.99. Increases skin absorption potential. Hydrates with nutrients and moisturize with natural ingredient essences.
This mask fit quite big as you can see - I didn't love the fit and that always makes a sheet mask hard to wear. This was okay and was refreshing on my skin. It did not stand out to me at all.
Repurchase: Nope...
October 26
Beauty Clinic Mediheal - Pumpkin Ade Mask ~ $1.99. Beauty Clinic Mediheal Mask provides the freshness and effectiveness of ingredients efficiently to provide nutrition for your skin with the synergy effect of concentrated essence. Beauty Clinic Mediheal Pumpkin Ade Mask keeps your face moist. This autumn squash sheet is beneficial to skin’s moisture providing the freshness and effectiveness to add nutrition of skin with the synergy effect of concentrated essence.
How perfect is this Mediheal pumpkin mask for Fall?! This mask lasted for 40 minutes and is a thicker, quilted fabric. This worked fit well and made my skin look amazing. I will say that this wasn't my favorite scent, but I loved this mask! I reviewed this mask on a Mask Wednesday post - you can check it out here!
Repurcahse: YES!
October 30
Berrisom Horror Mask - Skull Black Rice ~ $3.00. Cute and creepy skeleton character pattern. Contains black rice, hydrolyzed collagen, licorice, and ginger extracts. Provides elasticity, moisture, and health to skin.
This was such a fun mask for Halloween! I loved the skull print and think it looked so cool! This mask actually lasted for 45 minutes on my skin and it brightened my skin!
Repurchase: Maybe!
For October I only used 9 masks - I don't think I have ever used so few masks in a month! I am going to have to step it up in November!
That horror mask is hilarious!! My lips are in desperate need of some TLC, I have been thinking about trying out those Sephora lip masks because I love love love the face masks... now I definitely have to!
ReplyDeletehaha - thanks I love masks that are funny looking! I would suggest the lips masks from Sephora, they stay on better than many other lip masks I have tried!
