Skincare Sunday - Soak It Canada Hibiscus Coconut Clay Mask Review

Happy Sunday everyone! Tonight I need a clay mask to deep clean my skin! I recently won a set of goodies from Soak It Canada and it included 4 individual clay masks to try! Soak It Canada is a Canadian company based in Ontario that focuses on making vegan and vegetarian bath and body products.  

A set of 4 Single Use Clay Masks are $7, and a full size container is $10. Tonight I'm trying Hibiscus Coconut! (there is also other options such as Chocolate Mint, Blackout, and Oat & Honey!) 
Hibiscus Coconut - A kaolin clay mask containing fragrant hibiscus flower powder, rosehips powder, orange peel powder, and silky coconut milk powder. 


This mask is based in Kaolin Clay (white) - this clay has mild, cleansing, exfoliating and circulating properties. It is very gentle on the skin and will not draw oils from the face so it's great for those with normal, sensitive, and/or dry skin. 

Because these are based in clay, they do have specific instructions, so make sure you read everything thoroughly!

To use this mask: 
1. Mix 2 teaspoons of mask with 2 teaspoons of a warm liquid (water, tea, etc.)
2. Apply mask to a damp face
3. Leave on for 10 minutes for sensitive skin, and 15-20 minutes for all other skin types
4. Rinse well with water
5. Complete skincare routine
6. Do not use more than once per week

This mask is pink and smells so good - nice and floral (but not too strong!) It is a little thinner than I thought but it did apply well to my skin and did not drip around. The mask dried after a few minutes and did dry well on the skin (it did not get to itchy or tingly on my skin and I wore it for 15 minutes). 

This mask is pink and went on my skin well! I find sometimes that clay masks get too itchy on the skin; but, this mask is not one of those!! That is great for my skin and it felt really great as I was wearing it! I thought it made my skin feel very soft and clean - my skin was very soft and smooth after using it! I really enjoyed this!
