The whole "Champagne Collection" was released online on May 26 and will be in Sephora stores on June 16 (there will be a 2nd release online on June 16 as well for the limited edition items).
The collection includes 3 permanent items and 2 limited edition palettes. The permanent items are the highlighter Champagne Pop in Pressed, Poured and Liquid (if you want to see the pressed Champagne Pop review and a comparison between the 3 types of highlighters, you can check out my post here!)
The two limited edition palettes include a Face Palette and an Eyeshadow Palette - today I am reviewing and swatching the Face Palette (and will review the Eyeshadow Palette right away too!)
Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection ~ $59.00 CAN. The limited-edition Becca X Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette has five shades of highlighter and blush to illuminate all skintones. Every shade was designed by Jaclyn Hill, to allow you to mix and match so you can create endless layers if light and color for the perfect custom glow.
The packaging of this palette is gorgeous - and it has a huge mirror inside which is great!
The palette comes with this protective film and the names of the products - they are not inside the packaging. I will say, I do prefer when the names are written inside the packaging, but they are on the back of the package so you don't forget!
The size of the products included is really great, especially for the price. The regular pressed highlighters from Becca are $46 and the blushes are around $40. These are all a little smaller than full size, but again are well sized. I like the variety of blushes too - I think Amaretto and Pamplemousse are not shades I would generally buy, but I will happily expand my comfort zone and use them!
Here is a closer look at the all the pretty shades (I swatch with no primer and these pictures are taken in natural light and the colours unedited to try and give you the best idea of the true shades!)
The pigmentation of the colours are amazing - this is with 1 swipe on my fingers. I love the variation of the blushes and the different finishes they have! I think they are very usable! I have already loved Champagne Pop, and Prosecco Pop is noted to be a true gold toned highlighter - it is lovely and I will happily use it!
Just showing you a closer comparison of Champagne Pop and Prosecco Pop - I love them both, but if I had to pick a favorite, I would still go with Champagne Pop!
Again, I love the variety of shades the 3 blushes - the finishes are great! I am most drawn to Rose Spritz, but will happily use the other 2 as well!
Here is a look at Pamplemousse and Prosecco Pop on me!
If you are interested in this palette, I would highly recommend you pick up this palette either online or in stores on June 16 - this palette already sold out online quickly and I anticipate that it will sell out quickly again!
Have you tried the Champagne Collection Face Palette yet? What do you think?
I recently posted a review of this palette as well! I love it. Rose Spritz and Champagne Pop are my favourite but I often combine Champagne Pop and Prosecco Pop for my highlight. :)
ReplyDeleteOoh, I forgot about combining the 2 highlighters together!
DeleteWow, the swatches are absolutely stunning. I think I want one now!
ReplyDeleteAhhh... it's so gorgeous, if you are considering it I would grab it!
