I used a surprising amount of makeup up this month, which is great!
Sephora Collection Teint Infusion Ethereal Natural Finish Foundation in "Cream" ~ $30.00. A beautiful, lightweight, moisturizing foundation with a natural, barely-there finish.
This has quickly become a favourite foundation of mine - I love how light it is, but still offers a good amount of coverage! This goes on very smooth and lasts all day - it is my go-to foundation!

Covergirl Trublend Liquid Makeup ~ $11.94. TruBlend Liquid Makeup blends seamlessly for a flawless look.Perfectly matches 99% of all skintones. Available in 21 shades - 7 light, 7 medium, and 7 deep to easily find your perfect blend. You won’t know where your makeup ends and your own skin begins!
I received this in a bzzagent campaign and was surprised by how much I liked it! I haven't used Covergirl makeup in years! I posted a full review on the foundation here, and this made my February monthly favourites! (This lasted quite a while too which is great!) I really liked how light the feeling of the foundation was but that it offered great coverage. I did notice the last few weeks on my face it started to oxidize and turned orangeish which wasn't great - I'm hoping that was because it was almost done, but I will try it again and see!

Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara ~ sample size 0.14oz for $8.29 (full size is 0.38 oz for $22.50). Inspired by the on-set technique of layering a lengthening fiber mascara over a volumizing formula, this new studio-tested mascara exposes your longest, fullest lashes. No clumps, no flakes. Just maximum-impact, scene-stealing lashes.
I received this in a past Ipsy bag and didn't mind it the first few times I tried it; but, after 2 or 3 times, it just went everywhere. It would not stay on my lashes and even with a setting spray on, it would smear all over my eyelids and under my eyes. It was a total mess; blah. I also thought the wand was quite big for what I normally like as well.

I received this in a past Topbox and posted a full review on the lash primer here! I really liked this primer - i thought it worked well on it's own as a natural look and added serious volume when used under another mascara! This certainly delivered and I was happy with the results!

Benefit Cosmetics Roller Lash Curling & Lifting Mascara ~ sample size 0.1 oz for $10.33 (full size is 0.3 oz for $31). A mascara inspired by hair rollers, this super-curling and lifting mascara gives a sexy, wide-eyed look. Its patent-pending Hook ‘n’ Roll™ brush features tiny custom-designed hooks to catch, lift, and curl even short and straight lashes.
I really like this mascara - it is one of my favourites! In fact, this made my Monthly favourites back in December! I think this delivers with lifting and curling - it adds a great full look and works well! If you are looking for curl and volume, this is great for you! I also like the wand a lot!

This was a set of 3 pairs of eye gels - I was really happy with the Green Tea ones! I thought they did well to reduce puffiness and brighten the eye area! These gels have a good amount of essence and adhere really well to the skin! These are some of my favourite eye masks!

Elizabeth Arden Prevage Anti-Aging Antioxidant Infusion Essence ~ sample size 10 ml for $8.57 (full size is 140 ml for $120). A refreshing essence that hydrates and provides beneficial antioxidants to fight signs of aging.
This essence also made my April Favourites as well! I usually lean towards more oil type essences, but my skin had really been breaking out this has been an amazing alternative! It has been moisturizing and gentle on my skin! Love - but seriously, why does it have to be $120 because it is so damn good!!!
Repurchase: Eventually, but first I will look for more samples!
Skin Food Black Sugar Cleansing Oil ~ $13.91. A cleansing oil featuring mineral rich black sugar, refined rice wine, and six botanical oils to effectively remove makeup and for a smooth, clean complexion. Botanical oils work effectively to remove oil based makeup
and impurities for a cleaner, clearer complexion without a sticky residue.
This oil cleanser is really great - this has been a go-to cleanser for quite some time! It is very gentle, but amazing at removing impurities and makeup! I always double cleanse at night and start with an oil cleanser!

Happy Hippo Shower Spritzer in "Coldbuster" ~ $3.99. For a "burst" of specialty mood fragrance place one shower spritzer on shower floor.
These are for the shower floor, you put them off to the side and the scents last a few showers! I liked the smell of this one - I was feeling quite stuffed up from the loveliness of Spring, so this was great!
Repurchase: Yes, maybe not from this company but I like shower steamers
Soak It Canada Cupcake Bath Bomb ~ $6 - $8 (item not currently listed) A bath bomb that smells like birthday cake *and* is topped with buttercream scented bubble bath "icing"! Holy bubbles! These little cupcakes are so much fun and smell so delicious you'll wish you could take a bite! Not only do they smell yummy but they contain all the usual goodness found in my regular bombs, which will nourish your skin and leave it feeling soft and hydrated.
How amazingly cute is this bathbomb?! Seriously - and the smell was sooo good! So this was good and the bath bomb was great, I was hoping for a little more bubble from the icing. I thought maybe the icing would come off a little easier so I could run it under the tap like a bubble bar, but it didn't quite work out that well!
Repurchase: Probably, I would use it again and they make nice gifts!
Lush Butterball Bath Bomb ~ $4.95. Our vanilla-scented Bath Bomb is anything but boring when you lay back into a cozy white blanket of creamy, buttery froth. This little fizzer is the ultimate in comfort with chunks of creamy cocoa butter; it’s fantastic for rehydrating dry skin. Baths can dry your skin if they’re too hot, so if you’re in need of a long, lingering bath pop one of these gorgeous beauties into the tub for a vanilla custard soak to lull you into a deep relaxed state – and leave with sweeter, softer skin.
Mmmm... this smelled so good! The scent lasted a long time and I loved this! I mean all Lush bath bombs are great, but love a good vanilla scent so I really enjoyed how relaxed this one made me!
Repurchase: Yes!
Lush Bunch Of Carrots Bubble Bar ~ $12.95. Dig up the dirt on refreshing tropical bathing with this colorful trio of carrots. Hold one under running water to send bubbly clouds of buchu, lemon and grapefruit oils swirling around your bath, and then pop it on the side of your tub to dry for next time. The distinctive, bright colors of this heritage bunch make it an attractive addition to Easter baskets and bathtimes alike.
Ignore how weird this single carrot looks in this photo... so this price was for 3 bubble bars and this amount of bubbles was just from one bubble bar - I probably could have used this bubble car itself in 2 baths but I wanted a super bubbly bath and it was great! These bubbles also lasted a long time which was awesome (and they smelled so good!)
For May, I used 16 products - this seems way under what I normally use up! I think I normally in the 20s, but I thought I used a ton of products that I really liked this month and have a lot that I have already will repurchase or am planning on repurchasing!
How many products did you get through in May?
I love empties posts too! It's a great way to see what people actually loved. I'm definitely going to go try out that lash primer, I didn't even know Benefit had a tinted lash primer!
