Wine + Mask Wednesday (Kung Fu Girl Riesling + My Beauty Diary Citrus Firming Aroma Mask)

Ahhh, time for another Wine + Mask Wednesday! This week's theme is "citrus" - here is a look at the Wine of the Week:

2012 "Kung Fu Girl" Riesling ~ $9.99. This wine kicks ass with tons of complexity, showing notes of white peach, Linden leaves and slate. Lovely focused acidity, finishing very long with mandarin orange and lots of minerality.

This is a Charles Smith Wine and it is from Washington! Here is a look at the wine:

This wine is very crisp with just a bright hint of citrus flavor! It is light and delicious!!

Now to pair with our citrus wine; here is a citrus mask:

My Beauty Diary Citrus Firming Aroma Mask ~ $1.45. Functions: Firming, Rejuvenating with oil control.

Firming
The addition of retinol, a classic firming ingredient, provides skin with the basic vitamins needed to maintain normal skin function, supports collagen lifting and strengthens skin immunity. CosphingoTM , a long-lasting moisturizing ingredient, maintains healthy skin and plant extracts from mushrooms, hydrolyzed rice protein and hydrolyzed jojoba help eliminate cuticles and shrink pores, keeping the skin flawless with a soft-focus effect.

Rejuvenating with oil control

The complex scent of orange with its sunny disposition rejuvenates skin. The addition of plant essence from Hamamelis virginiana, lemon and grapefruit regulates the balance of oil content and hydration level of the skin, reducing the oily appearance of the skin and keeping it clean and clear.

This mask comes out of the package with a plastic overlay to help unfold it:

This mask is easy to use: wash face, tone skin and apply mask, leave on for 20 minutes, remove and complete skincare routine.

This mask fits well on the top half of my face; however, the lower half is a fair bit big! There is only 2 tabs to allow the mask to fit the face - if there were a few more tabs it would fit a bit better.

This mask smells really good and it is orange-y! This mask is quite soaked in essence and during me wearing, it was dripping down my chin a fair bit. I actually quite liked this and it made my skin feel nice and clean!
