Skincare Sunday Product Review - Shangpree Gold Premium Modeling Mask

Ever since I got this Shangpree Gold Premium Modeling Mask in the Peach and Lily Seoulcialite 2.0 box, I have been dying to try it!! It looks so cool and hilarious - which is the best part about k-beauty products!

Here is a look at the mask:

Shangpree Gold Premium Modeling Mask ~ 1 mask for $10 (set of 5 for $98). Get ready for the newest trend in Korean Beauty: Modeling "Rubber" Masks. Bring the luxury of a spa directly to your home by indulging in this hydrating, anti-aging mask. Rich gold and nourishing Asian botanicals are concentrated in this rubbery skin conditioning treatment to provide long-lasting moisture retention, remove impurities, and re-energize & revitalize skin. Each session will leave you with the appearance of firmer, hydrated, and more youthful looking skin.

The instructions on the mask are simple: mix Pack 1 and Pack 2, apply to face, leave for 15-20 minutes, peel off mask.

*One of the reviews I read said that this mask package had enough masks for 2, so I decided to use half of Pack 1 and Pack 2!*

The Peach and Lily Seoulcialite Box included a mixing bowl for this mask. Here is a look at Pack 1:

Here is Pack 2:

This is both packs combined together:

You can use the spatula and apply right to skin:

Here is a look at the mask when it is just applied:

When this masks sits, it dries but it doesn't really harden. I have never used a "rubber" mask before so it felt pretty cool. My only thought was that because it never felt fully "dry" I wasn't sure when I would be able to peel it off. Here is a look after 20 minutes:

The instructions say to peel this off in 1 go - I tried that and mine came off in about 5 or 6 pieces which is decent for a peel off mask (they aren't always the easiest to use!)

My skin felt better after using this and I look forward to using it again! I would second the advice to only use half of the packages as it covered my whole face (If I would have used the whole package I would have felt like there was a lot of wasted product!) I am happy with the results, and the mask is the epitome of fun, unique k-beauty products!

  2. I have heard that you need to use the whole amount for more enhanced effect and to make it peel off at once :-)

    1. I tried to peel it off in 1 go as that is what the directions say - it sounds easier than it is! Also, I certainly understand using the whole package, I just found it a little wasteful as it all would have dripped off my face!

    2. Hi there, if the consistency is right, it won't drip. And it needs to be a thick layer in order to harvest the full effect :)
