August 2024 Ipsy Glambag Unboxing

Ipsy to me is one of the OG Beauty Subscription - I have been getting these once every few months just to see if they still are great!

The June 2024 Theme is Enter Your Soft Era and described as "What better way to get into the IPSY spirit than with a varsity-inspired Glam Bag design? August’s Bag features faux-leather, contrasting colors, and hand-sewn patches to create a part-of-the-team vibe. Plus, it’s packed with all the beauty MVPs you need to ace your routine."

August 2024 Ipsy Glambag Unboxing
I purchased this bag

The Ipsy Glam Bag is $14 per month + $3.95 shipping to Canada (it worked out to about $25 CAN with the exchange for the month!) Each month comes with 5 curated products based on your preference quiz and I now you get to pick one of the items that is included in the box. It also gives you access to beauty deals in their shop.

Here are the products that were included in this month's Glam Bag:

Slmissglam Retro Eyeshadow Brush ~ $21.50 US. Like a magic wand, this eyeshadow brush effortlessly picks up, buffs on, and blends out your shadow pigments with its super soft bristles. You’ll be reaching for this to create all your fave eye looks—plus, the bright, retro-styled design is hard to miss!

I don't know how many brushes over the years I have received from beauty bags, but I'm totally stocked and these are good filler. This brush isn't even available from the brand on their site, so the cost feels inflated to me. But it is a cute brush and will get used.

Kiramoon Flowermelon Hydrating Serum ~ $5.33 US for deluxe sample. This lightweight, oil-free serum is like a big gulp of water for your skin, helping to minimize redness and fine lines and giving you that youthful bounce of your dreams. Packed with ingredients like hyaluronic acid, aloe leaf juice, and super-hydrating fruit extracts, this serum is your secret weapon to help achieve smoother, plumper skin after just one go.

This is a new brand to me, but I like the sounds of this serum - I am excited to try this one out!

Beauty Vaulte Eyeshadow Palette in Regal ~ $23.00 US. This six-shade palette takes the crown in creating gilded eye looks. Featuring jewel-inspired shades like rich matte burgundy and shimmery copper, these highly pigmented shadows are your perfect go-to for effortlessly creating soft-glam looks.

I have been lucky enough to receive a few eyeshadow palettes over the past few months that I've gotten my Ipsy bags which is great. They bring a good value. This one is good for Fall, but feels a little dark for day to day wear for me.

Benefit Cosmetics The POREfessional Matte Primer ~ $6.41 CAN for 3ml sample. This featherweight primer is a multitasking marvel, smoothing away the appearance of pores, locks in makeup, and absorbs excess oils for a flawless and natural-looking matte finish that lasts. Powerhouse ingredients, like niacinamide (a form of vitamin B3) and rose hip extract, help to brighten dull skin and improve hydration while reducing oil production to cut down on shine.

This is a tiny little sample, but it is one I am happy to see as it one of Benefit's newest products - I like a matte primer and am happy to try this one out!

YC Collection Liquid Highlighter in Creamsicle ~ $10.00 US approx. sample size. Whether you’re going for a subtle glow or a full-on glazed donut vibe, this highlighter is for you. Infused with hyaluronic acid for a boost of hydration and narcissus flower extract for a soothing effect, it’s perfect for accentuating your best features. With its easy-to-blend formula, you can wear it alone or mix it with your favorite foundation or moisturizer for a soft-focus effect. Plus, the addition of squalene helps strengthen your skin barrier.

This is a brand that I've received in Ipsy before and this is fine - I like liquid products and it is a good size sample.

Overall, this bag was alright - everything I expect in a subscription box. A couple of full size, a couple of sample size and a decent variety of products!

Do you still get any subscription boxes?!
