Manicure Monday - Panda Nail Art!

The only thing I like about Mondays is that I can post my weekly Manicure!! This week I'm doing Panda Nails!

I'm such a panda fan so I love these!

Here are the products I used for this weeks Mani:
  • Formula X Nail Cleanser, Base Coat and Top Coat
  • Sally Hansen #300 White On
  • Black nail art polish
  • OPI in "Greenade" for Nina Garcia NG02 Quarterly Box
  • Nail Dot tool & Nail art brushes (I do recommend nail art brushes only because the brush is not as long as in the nail art polishes and are easier to control)

Here are the steps I followed:

Step 1. Nail cleanser and Base Coat
Step 2. One Coat of colored base coat (I used the greenade, but feel free to use any color you wish or leave it natural)
Stept 3. When that dries, use a nail art brush and white polish to create a curved edge on the nail to create the shape of the head (if you can't freehand this - let your polish dry very well and use a french manicure sticker, it will give you the same shape with a little more control!

Step 4. Fill in with white polish

Step 5. Let dry. Use a black polish and a nail art pen (you can use a large dotting tool as well) to create small ovals/circles for the ears

Step 6. Use the nail art pen or dotting tool to creat slightly larger oval for the fur around the eyes

Step 7. Use nail art brush/dotting tool to create a small nose

Step 8. Let the black dry well and use a small dotting tool (a toothpick would work as well) and you a little white polish to add eyes

Step 9. Let dry and add top coat!
And, here is my final product again:

What did you do for Manicure Monday?
