Five on Friday - January 28, 2022 ~ January 2022 Scratch Monthly Mani Kit, Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake, Damian's 17th Birthday, Lifetime Ruby Movie, and Declutter

Happy Friday everyone - hope you all had a great week. Mine has been a little rough and long - I was sick last week, but got my covid results back as negative; but, then late on Sunday night my little guy said he had a sore throat and tested positive for covid. I feel bad because he isn't old enough to get vaccinated and has to quarantine for the full 10 days (he's not super sick, which is great, but still so hard to be stuck at home!) - but it's all over the house right now, so it's a little crazy!

I just got my January 2022 Scratch Monthly Mani Kit and as always, they are super cute - I always love their floral prints, they are my go-to! This is an easy, affordable subscription that features nail wraps from GoScrachIt that are exclusive to the kit each month and designed by NinaNailedIt!

Five on Friday - September 24, 2021 ~ A Song of Achilles Book Review, IvoryLane Boutique Haul, Abercrombie & Fitch Sweaters, Yearly Declutter, and Palettes of the Week

Happy Friday everyone! What a week it's been; but, the best part of all is that it is officially Fall now! But, we also had a Federal election on Monday with no huge changes to the system, so it felt a little wasteful while we are still in the midst of a pandemic.

And then, also on Monday, Alberta's "Restriction Exemption Program" or vaccine passport system came in to effect. But, I was also supposed to start up on a volleyball team again and it got cancelled with the new restrictions, so that's a bummer! So there has been lots going on and on top of it, my little guy was sick so I had a day home in there to take care of him!

I hope you guys have been enjoying the addition of some of my top reads, because it is not going anywhere! So, if you are looking for a book to rip your heart out, seriously, look no further! The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller was a no-brainer 5 star read - this book is so stunning, there is no better way to describe it!

April Shop My Stash ~ Coral Pink Makeup Look

Coral and pinks are some of favourite colours to play with on my eyes, and it's been a little while since I've done a full face of makeup so I grabbed my favourite shades and just played!

I love how bright and pretty this turned out - the corals and pinks are just giving me all the Spring and Summer vibes (as it's still snowing here in Calgary today)!

I was really feeling the red eye look and it paired so well with this lipstick (that I didn't even know I have, which proves exactly why I do these looks every month!) I'm really happy with how the look turned out!

Ranking ALL My Palettes of 2019!

It should come as no surprise that I love eyeshadow palettes and it's clearly the most bought product in my makeup collection! I just love palettes - eyeshadow is by far my favourite makeup product and I love the variety and everything about it!

So, since I picked up 22 new palettes in 2019 (purchased by myself, received in subscription boxes, or PR) I thought I would rate them all and see how much I like and use them all!
