I'm such a fan of Cheekbone Beauty - I've certainly raved about their products on here before and still use their Unify Multi-Pencil (previously Sustain Complexion Pencil) and I love to see where this brand is going and what else they come out with!
Cheekbone just released a new product - the Courage Cream Duo for a good cause - the Cheekbone Beauty Scholarship Fund! The Cheekbone Beauty Scholarship Fund was set up in honour of our Founder & CEO, Jenn Harper's grandmother, Emily Paul, who was a Canadian residential school survivor. The scholarship offers funding to Indigenous students who are attending a Canadian or U.S. post-secondary institution in any area of study.
I have been loving cream blushes, so I really wanted to pick this up and try it out - I love this bold colour of a blush and it's just gorgeous in person! Plus, Cheekbone also has a "Perfectly Imperfect" section where they sell some products that may have a cosmetic defect that doesn't effect the quality of the product instead of throwing them out and I love that, so I picked up a lipgloss!
Here's a closer look at the products:
Cheekbone Beauty Courage Cream Duo in Biskane ~ $39.00 CAN. A limited-edition, multi-purpose, lip and cheek cream duo that is clean, vegan, and sustainably minded. This duo contains a bold, vibrant orange cream, which can be used for both cheek and lip application. It also contains a cream highlighter which can be used alone to add a subtle glow to the skin, on top of your complexion products, or blended into the blush shade. The possibilities are endless with this highly pigmented, yet layer-able duo, with this easy-to-apply cream formula.
This is a gorgeous cheek duo - the blush shade is the vibrant orange, that will blend out on the skin, or build up as bold as you like it! This is a unique shade in my cream blush collection and would certainly work for a range of skin tones. The high-lighter is a nice champagne-gold shade and it's lovely!
The packaging is made out of recycled materials and was designed to be used afterwards (a little tin to hold things in your purse, etc.)
Here's a look at the shades swatched on me! The formula almost looks like a powder in the pan, but's it's a gorgeous creamy formula! They are both creamy, apply easily and blend on the cheeks and dry down to a lovely finish on the cheeks.
This is a limited edition product to support a good cause and I'm really happy I picked this one up!
Cheekbone Beauty Harmony Lipgloss in Sweetgrass ~ $28.00 CAN. Meet Harmony, lipgloss with a purpose. Created to honor Indigenous traditions. Pigment and shine without that sticky, tacky feeling? Yes, please! The lightweight vegan gloss leaves your lips feeling moisturized and looking refreshed. From sheer tint to bold colour, instantly upgrade any look.
I was able to get this for $9.60 CAN from the Perfectly Imperfect section - they are updating the packaging (to be refillable), so this is the older packaging and I have no problems with that. The shade Sweetgrass is that really neutral shade and it's pretty!
This formula is really nice - it's pretty pigmented, but it's not sticky or anything and wore really nicely while keeping my lips nice and soft!
Here's a look at the products on me - I have the Courage Cream Duo in Biskane on my cheeks and the Harmony Lipgloss in Sweetgrass on my lips! I'm really happy with both of these products and how they worked for me!
Have you tried Cheekbone Beauty yet?!
