Monthly Beauty and Book Haul ~ November 2022

I'm switching up my Monthly Haul posts a little bit this year, because I'm actually *trying* to stick to a bit of a budget! I've been going a little crazy on the beauty and books front, so I just want to be a little more thoughtful in my purchases. So. I'm trying to keep my beauty and book purchases to $200 a month - we'll see!

I do always love my Monthly Haul posts - it's a good way to keep track of everything that I picked up each month. I don't always blog about everything I pick up (I try to), but if you ever spot anything in here that you really want me to talk about, let me know!

Shoppers Finds ~ $0.00 CAN. Okay, I love using my PC Optimum points at Shoppers - I had to pick up some gifts, medicine and a few other things, so I used all my points to get these for free. I'm excited to try the ELF Putty Bronzer and I love picking up these Benefit brow holiday sets - they do always have a great value!

Indigo Preorder ~ $19.72 CAN. I was so excited when Adrienne Young announced that she was writing the Saint prequel we've all been wanting since the original Fable book cam out! I pre-ordered it and am hoping to read it asap!

Indigo Preorder ~ $17.12 CAN. Okay, I also needed to pre-order the latest Shea Ernshaw book - I love her writing and this one is a YA about astronomy and an illness travelling through the country. I will always read this author's books so I'm excited to dive in to this one right away!

Sephora Order ~ $90.15 CAN. I couldn't resist the Sephora sale, so I picked up a few new things I wanted to try and a couple of new items! The JVN Mist is the best leave-in spray, so I picked up a new one - the Charlotte Tilbury set is something I wanted so I could try both of these items. Then I tried the Commodity Book scent and it is amazing (already made my favourites). The Verb and First Aid Beauty items were points items.

Costco Book Find ~ $16.79 CAN. I couldn't resist picking this one up at Costco - this is an expensive book normally, and even though I haven't read the series, it is on my list for January for a wintery series read.

Bloodmarked Pre-order ~ $18.00 CAN. This is the second book to the Legendborn series - this is the second book and it's been pushed back a couple of times this year. I really enjoyed the first book last year, it's a King Arther fantasy series so I can't wait to read this one!

Facebook Book Find ~ $5.00 CAN. This is the second book to the Family Upstairs series and I listened to it on audio earlier this year. I enjoyed it and it happy to add this to my collection second hand!

Lush Kitchen Box December ~ $58.75 CAN. The way this subscription works is you pay for the month's box the month before, so I pay for the December box in November. It ships out at the end of November, so it comes pretty early in December. I've already unboxed it if you are interested - you can see it here

I spent $225.53 CAN this month on books and beauty, so pretty reasonable and close to my $200 budget. Other than a couple of months, I've done really well. A lot of pre-orders came in and some new beauty products this month to try too!
