Monthly Beauty Favourites - March 2022

I'm so excited to have more makeup favourites this month - I'm in a phase of using a bunch of older skincare products up, so hopefully when I try some new skincare products I will have more to share soon! 

I used to always have pick 5 products each month, but that is one thing I'm changing this year - whatever I'm loving, I will share whether it's 2 or 10 products! 

Here is a look at the products I've been loving this month:

ColourPop Pretty Fresh Tinted Moisturizer in Light 8N ~ $14.00 US. I actually bought this last year and liked it, but only used it a few times as I was using up some older products at the time! So, now that I'm getting to this and using it more, I'm really like it! It's nice and light and just smooths out the skin tone while offering a light coverage - I really like it applied with a brush, but it works well with fingers or a sponge as well! This is a perfect colour match for me. It's got a dewy finish and I set it with a powder but it wears well and looks nice on! 

ColourPop Lux Lip Oil in Din Djarin ~ $16.00 US for the Rescue Lux Lip Oil Set. This super nourishing lip oil is perfect for a sheer kiss of colour. infused with a lip-loving blend of antioxidant rich chamomile & calendula oils, this lightweight gel-oil formula leaves your lips kissably soft!

I've raved about the Lux Lip Oil formula so much, so I will try and keep it toned down - it's smoothing and softening and this one has just a nice warm, terracotta finish to it and the shade is just so nice but a deeper nude on me with just a wash of colour! I love it! 

E.L.F. Cosmetics Prime & Stay Finishing Powder ~ $3.99 CAN. Lightweight, tinted powder helps minimize the appearance of fine lines and set your makeup in place for long wear. Can be used alone, or throughout the day for a quick touch-up.

My absolute favourite setting powder is the NYX banana powder - it's pressed, and it works so well, but it's so hard to find and I have been trying to find a replacement. I've previously tried one ELF powder before but the packaging broke so I was hesitant, but I'm really loving this one! It sets nicely over the whole face with a light dusting, then sets nicely pressed under the eyes too. I like the finish and love the price!
