It's Pride Week in Calgary, so naturally I need to have some bright rainbow nails for the occasion! (Obviously my support of Pride goes far beyond my nails, but as an ally I love to show my support any way that I can!)
For all of July and August the #CBBxManiMonday group is featuring Summer nails - I've been doing lots of bright colours all Summer because that's exactly what I think of when I think of Summer nails!
The products I used for this week's mani are:
- China Glaze polish Summer Moon
- Bundle Monster Art Club red nail art polish
- Kiss orange nail art polish
- Innisfree polish in #203 Woody
- Art Deco green nail art polish
- Charlotte Russe blue nail art polish
- Essie Tangoed In Love polish
- Smackers polish in "Wickedly Stylish"
- MoYou London Crazy Cat Lady Collection 02 plate
I also used a nail stamper and a nail art polish!
I started with a base coat and two coats of the white polish as a base polish. Then, I stamped black polish on the stamping plate and picked it up on the stamper. While the outline was on the stamper, I filled in the cats with all the nail art polishes and then I stamped on to my nails (called reverse stamping). Then I finished with a nail art polish.
I thought these turned out really cute - I'm still working on my stamping, but I'm having fun trying all the different techniques out!
