Manicure Monday - Pot of Gold Nails

Happy Manicure Monday - can you believe that we are already half way through March?! It is just flying by! And, it's already almost St. Patrick's Day!

I rarely do anything for St. Patrick's Day; and of course this year there isn't anything going on; but, this year I thought we would have a little fun with the day and we've set up a Leprechaun trap with a pot of gold - do you think we will catch one?!

So, sticking with the Pot of Gold, I thought it would be perfect for this week's nails! And, this is the perfect week for green nails, so I'm keeping up our theme for the month of course!

The products that I used for this week's manicure are:
Manicure Monday - Pot of Gold Nails

For this manicure, I started with one coat of green polish as the base coat and one coat of green shimmer polish - this combo was the perfect glittery green! Then, I painted the rainbow and pot of gold on the middle finger for an accent nail!

Using the nail art polishes (or nail art brush with the yellow and purple polishes) I painted the shape of a rainbow - for the lighter colours, I added white as a base and painted the polish shade overtop to help it stand out! Then, using the black nail polish, I created a black pot on the bottom of the nail. With the white polish, I dotted on little circles, then dotted over them with gold polish to create the coins! And, I finished with a top coat!

I love how these turned out - it is a bright light green and the rainbow and pot of gold are the perfect pop! Happy St. Patrick's Day and as always, make sure to check out Cosmetic Proof and Prairie Beauty Love to see their nails too!
