I always love my Monthly Haul posts, so I can share with you everything I picked up in the month; because, as much as I love blogging, I can't share every single thing I picked up!
Last month, I got rid of my $100 a month goal, and instead I'm sticking to the being more conscious about my purchases and just make sure it's makeup that I will really like before buying it! I want to make sure that I can use and enjoy the products I have in my collection and that I will really use the products I picked up!
I purchased everything in this post
Sephora Order ~ $110.25 CAN. I placed this order because I was really excited to try both the Glow Recipe Papaya Sorbet Cleansing Balm (which already made my September Favourites because it's so good!) and the Natasha Denona Chromium Liquid Multichrome Eyeshadow (also made my Favourites because it's so beautiful - you can see a full post and the shadow on me here!) I finally picked up a full size Laniege Lip Sleeping mask because I've been trying to find more affordable alternative and they have been burning my lips, so I just went for the real thing! My code got me the Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Eye Cream that I've wanted to try for a while! The samples from Smashbox, DevaCurl, Tatcha.
Hot Topic Palette ~ $22.50 CAN approximately (was $16.90 US). Alright, I placed a Hot Topic order for some Nightmare Before Christmas items for my costume and house, and I couldn't help sneaking this palette in with the order. I've never tried Hot Topic makeup before and my hopes aren't high, but I had to give it a try!
Shoppers Drug Mart Order ~ $5.65 CAN. Oh yes, you saw that right, only $5! I cashed in some points so I could try out the Urban Decay Mini Stoned Palette and I was also excited to try out the Add-on Beauty Dry Mask. The Clarins mascara and Lise Watier products were add on samples.
Sephora Order #2 ~ $30.45 CAN. I placed this order because I was really excited to see this Pat McGrath palette on sale for $19, and I also tried to order the Ciate Nail Stickers, but sadly Sephora sent me the wrong item and the stickers are out of stock, so they refunded me. I wanted to try the Pumpkin Mask and the Cucumber Eye masks were just added in to get free shipping! The Glow Recipe Plum serum was the add-on code and the others were free samples.
Walmart Order ~ $17.19 CAN. I was excited to see Papa Recipe & Mediheal masks when I was in Walmart, so I had to pick a few up! Plus, I saw these new Garnier masks and had to pick them up to try out!
Le Labo Scents ~ $49.34. Yes, holy shit - you read that right, I spent $50 on perfume sample sized. I decluttered all my scents and then watched a favourites video where someone mentioned Le Labo and I just sort of picked up a few because they had a few City exclusives. I picked up Tonka 25, Another 13, Vanille 44, and Poivre 23. Honestly, I probably didn't need these, but I don't use a ton of perfume so these will last me. I've tried the Vanille 44 and it was really nice!
Nail Polishes ~ $12.65 CAN. I just picked up a few brown shades to do some more earthy, Fall nail looks! I love the Essie Expressie polish and Sally Hansen formulas, so I think both of these will be good!
October Scratch Monthly Mani Kit ~ $20.62 CAN. This is another subscription that you pay for the month before - I loved the look of the October wraps and I can't wait to get these! They are so cute!
It's a good thing I got rid of my monthly budget because I spent $467.34 this month - I certainly bought more makeup than I have in a long time, but I do still think there was a lot of thought-through a lot of the purchases!
That Hot Topic palette is so cute, no wonder it sneaked into your cart :)
