Happy Manicure Monday everyone! Phew, I am back from two weeks of vacation now (don't worry, small family vacations - nothing crazy, just getting out of our own house for two weeks), and it's nice to be home!
The polish featured was received as a PR sample - the wraps were purchased on my own
I've been raving about Scratch nail wraps since I tried them in 2014 - that's a long time to be loyal to a nail wrap brand; but, I love them and I feature their wraps fairly often for my manis because they are so gorgeous and make my nails look fabulous when I don't have the time to do nail art myself! I've also been subscribed to their Monthly Mani Kit on and off since 2016 and I love it. They recently have their nail wraps introduced in Ulta and I think that's amazing, always happy to see a brand I love expand! Long story short, it's been a while since I've done an unboxing along with a Mani Monday, but since I used these wraps the day I got them, it only seemed fitting!
For this month's #CBBxManiMonday theme we are going with Summer Lingo prompts and I picked "fruit" for my nails this week, so these Citrus Blossom wraps seemed perfect!
The Scratch Monthly Mani Kit is is an easy, affordable subscription that features nail wraps from GoScrachIt that are exclusive to the kit each month and designed by NinaNailedIt!
The Scratch Monthly Mani Kit is $18.00 US monthly with free shipping everywhere! Each month you get an exclusive set of wrapsand an extra little manicure product!
The July 2020 subscription came with:
- Citrus Blossom nail wraps
- WiiNo Shop Marquis studs
I like that this subscription has an option to skip a month as well - I always get their wraps when they are floral because Nina designs the prettiest floral wraps ever!
All of the sets come with 16 nail wraps, so I can get a full mani plus some accent nails out of each set (I will still use them even if they don't fit perfectly, but I find they have enough of a size range that they work well for me!)
Also, these wraps are some of the easiest to apply and they are just removed with regular nail polish remover because they use 5-free polish inks! I can easily get about a week's wear out of them with a top coat and that's perfect for me!
The products I used for this week's mani are:
- OPI How Does Your Zen Garden Grow? polish
- OPI Infinite Shine Primer and Gloss
- Scratch Citrus Blossom nail wraps
And, this manicure was really straight forward - I started with a base coat and two coats of the light green polish for a base, then once the polish was dry, I applied the wraps to all my nails and finished with a top coat!
And as always, make sure you check out Cosmetic Proof and Prairie Beauty Love to see their Summer nails!
Initially I thought that the green was part of the wraps. It's the perfect colour to go with them!
ReplyDeleteI think that green goes so well too!
