For the Summer 2020 collection, China Glaze came out with the "White Hot" collection - it is a full range of six different multi-finish white polishes to "keep you cool from sunup to sundown"! This collection is available on Nail Polish Canada for $8.45 CAN each.
For the #CBBxManiMonday July theme, we are going with a Summer Lingo theme where we pick from a list of Summer prompts - this week's word of the week for me is "Heat", so the White Hot collection is perfect!
Here is a look at the six polishes swatched:
Spritzer Sister ~ Spritzer Sister is a white glitter
This is a white glitter polish with a translucent base - this is a great topper glitter. In this picture I have two coats of polish on and this one is really pretty.
Pearl Talk ~ Pearl Talk is a white shimmer
This is a white metallic shimmer polish - this picture is with two coats of the polish on. This is a pretty shade; but, I did think this formula was a little streaky.
Hey, Chardonnay, Hey ~ Hey, Chardonnay, Hey is white with a gold shimmer
This is an opaque white polish with a gold shimmer in it and it is absolutely gorgeous - I think this is my favourite polish in the whole collection (also the name helps!) and this is swatched with two coats of polish!
Off White, On Point ~ Off-White, On Point is a white creme
This polish was swatched with three coats of polish - it wasn't quite fully opaque with two coats and I found it slightly too thick with three coats. It just wasn't my favourite formula in the line; but, I do like the slightly off white colour!
Summer Moon ~ Summer Moon is a white creme
This was certainly the truest classic white creme polish - this formula was much easier to work with and was fully opaque in two coats and is a is just a good, solid white polish!
Sauvignon & On ~ Sauvignon & On is a white iridescent shimmer
This is a semi-sheer base with shimmer in it - it's a really pretty colour and it's a little more opaque than this picture shows (but it's not full opaque). This does have a pretty finish!
I thought this was a really fun spin on a collection with different variations of one shade! I really love Hey, Chardonnay, Hey, Spritzer Sister and Summer Moon!
