Manicure Monday - Summer Floral Nail Art

Happy Manicure Monday! I think it's been a long time since I've done nail art here as it's been a crazy busy Summer, so it was so amazing to sit down and do a little art for this week!

A couple of polishes may have been received as PR

This whole month our #CBBxManiMonday group is doing things a little bit different and we are searching #summernails and picking our inspiration from what we find - this is such a fun way to find some new inspiration!

So, searching the hashtag this week I saw so much micro-florals and a ton of yellow, so I picked both of those for my inspiration for this week's manicure!

The products I used for this week's manicure are:
-L.A. Colors Color Graze Gel in Horray
-OPI polish in Tempura-ture is Rising
-Morgan Taylor polish in Beauty Marks the Spot
-Kiss nail art paint polish in orange
-L.A. Colors art deco polish in green
-Color Club polish in Poetic Hues
-Moyra SP Top Coat
-OPI Infinite Shine primer

I'm loving how these florals turned out so much! They are exactly what I was going for! I used a mix of yellow, orange, and pinks and a peaches, with a little mix of greenery in there! They are the perfect bright Summer flowers and tie in to the yellow polish so well!

And, instead of trying to explain how I created the floral nail art, here it is in picture steps! I started with the greenery, and added random flowers and dots in different colours, with a focus on the yellow everywhere to tie in the other nails! If you've been intimidated by this flower nail art; but, wanted to try it, it's easier than you think!

For the base, I used Poetic Hues on the base of all the nails, and then painted the yellow polish over top to really make the neon pop on the nails! It did take 2 coats over top; but, since yellow is a lighter polish shade, I wanted to make sure it looked nice and bright!

I feel so good to get back in to the Summer nails with some amazing floral nail art! As always, make sure to check out Cosmetic Proof, Prairie Beauty Love, and Tea & Nail Polish to see what they came up with for their #summernails this week!
