Happy Friday everyone! I hope you all have had an amazing week!

Monthly Makeup Basket

It's time for a look at my April Monthly Makeup Basket! Each month I've been picking a few different face products to focus on for the month! I'm really trying to focus this year on using and enjoying my whole makeup collection!

For April, the products I'm focusing on are:
  • Natasha Denona Mini Blush and Glow - I've recently just reviewed this lovely little duo; but, it's a total favorite since last Summer when I picked it up!
  • L'Oreal Paradise Enchanted Scented Blush in "Fantastical" - this is a really great peachy blush that I just haven't used much!
  • Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Ornate - I carried this over from last month as I didn't really use it! I love this formula; but, this shade might be too bright for me. I will try to use it more this month and decide!
  • Laura Geller Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator in Gilded Honey - this was a must have product from the States a couple of years ago (this made my favorites back in March 2016), so I love this so much but I haven't reached for it often lately!
I'm excited to get some good use out of all these products this month!

Soo'Ae masks
Ooooh, how fun is this little package that showed up from Soo'Ae this week! I won a giveaway on their instagram page and I'm pretty excited about it, as I've been hoping to try more products from this brand! Woo hoo - I love a good giveaway win!

lululemon uplifting scrunchie

Okay, I may have waited to be the last person to jump on the Scrunchie bandwagon again! I'm not going to lie, I wasn't really ready to get back on this 80's/90's train; but, I realize that these are more gentle on my hair and I really need that now that my work has made us wear our hair up everyday. Also, these Uplifting Srunchies from Lululemon aren't the crazy thick scrunchies, so they are wearable (or more wearable than most...) Also, I get a 25% off discount from Lulu, so I'm always tempted to shop there!

I recently restarted my Palette of the Week (I finished going through my whole collection 4 weeks ago) - basically all I do is pick a new palette each week to focus on! Like my Monthly Makeup Basket, sometimes it's random and sometimes I pick; but, I keep track on a checklist so I can keep track of everything!

The past four weeks had me using the Viseart Petit Pro 1 (love - you can see a past review on this palette here and it made my Monthly Favorites in October 2017), the Lorac Pro 3 palette (picked up on my last US trip; but, it just didn't do it for me so I'm decluttering it), then I used the Naked Reloaded palette (love this - it just made my March 2019 Favorites and I will review it soon), and the most recent palette I used is the Wet n Wild Not A Basic Peach palette (just recently reviewed and it's so pretty and affordable!)

And, here is a really small Monthly Declutter from March! I'm passing on the Lorac Pro 3 palette (just too one note for me), the Alamar Reina Del Caribe vol 1 palette (beautiful, just didn't like the looks I got with it using it again), and the Hank & Henry liquid lipstick (which is totally beautiful and I've loved this before; but, I wore it recently and it bled and faded so weird on me, I just knew I wouldn't wear it anymore - sad!)

I hope you all have an amazing weekend!
