My U.S.A. Shopping Haul - Ulta, Target, Sephora and Naimies!

I could not wait to get this post up - I may have went a little shopping crazy on my recent trip to L.A. and Anaheim. There are so many products that aren't readily in Canada that I have been waiting patiently to try!

(Also, I usually keep everything in CAD $ in my posts, but just because these are easier in USD, that's what I will share the prices in for this haul!)

I didn't actually think I would make it to a Sephora while in California! When we were in L.A. it was just too far of a drive; but, when we stayed in Anaheim we walked to our house through Downtown Disney and I saw Sephora and HAD to run in and pick this one item up!

Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask ~ $45.00 US. The Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask is a luxuriously bouncy, breathable sleeping mask that smoothes and perfects skin, overnight.

I have heard amazing things about this mask! Aaaannd, this is going to be a common theme of this post; but, why is this not available in Canada?! I mean it's at Sephora, just not Sephora Canada. This can be used as an overnight mask or a rinse off mask and lets you wake up with glowing skin! I'm going to put this to the test ASAP and will share my thoughts when I'm ready!

I went to Ulta the day after we arrived in California - I couldn't wait! I know they recently started shipping to Canada (with free shipping over $100), but I already had this trip planned so I wanted to hold off and see what I was able to find in person! Again, why is there no Ulta in Canada - I love that it is a mix of higher end and drug store products all in the same spot! I didn't get everything on my list; but, I got most of it!

SNP Cat Wrinkle Face Art Mask Sheet ~ $5.00 US. Cat Wrinkle Face Art Mask Sheet by SNP is a tightening and wrinkle reducing face mask that provides an intense supply of nutrition to reinforce skin firmness and elasticity. This resilience and wrinkle diminishing mask supplies concentrated nourishment and moisture to skin for firm and energized skin.

I didn't realize that Ulta had such a big k-beauty section and I love these SNP masks - I have tried a bunch of different types, but not the cat mask and I'm a bit of a crazy cat lady so I had to pick this one up! I will share my thoughts when I use it!

Tonymoly Megatox Bright Shot Ampoule Mask ~ $6.50 US. TonyMoly's Megatox Ampoule Masks are made with thin, microfiber cellulose, our microcell sheet mask not only adheres closely to the face, but it makes it easier for the skin to absorb the ampoule's hydration and nutrients.

Tony moly knows how to grab your attention with their packaging! I have seen this when it was released months ago and it has been on a wishlist so I am happy to give this a shot (haha - literally!)

Skinfood Gummy Bear Jelly Hand Gel in "Kiwi" ~ $4.00 US on sale. A fresh grape scented hand cream that nourishes and keeps hands moisturized. Gelatin firms the skin by treating wrinkles, increasing skin's moisture content, and improving skin tone. The hand cream is also infused with Shea Butter that nourishes dry, damaged skin.

How stinkin cute is this hand cream?! I have almost bought this on ebay a few times and it is smaller than I thought, so I'm glad this kiwi scent was on sale!

Skinfood Freshmade Watermelon Mask ~ $13.00 US. Skinfood's Freshmade Watermelon Mask is a wash off gel mask that instantly soothes and hydrates complexion, leaving a fresh, subtle watermelon scent. Watermelon is vitamin and anti-oxidant rich. It provides hydration and helps minimize pores and oil production.

This came in a bunch of types, so I picked up watermelon - I wasn't actually trying to buy many masks but I still managed to pick up quite a few! I'm sure I will feature this on a Mask Wednesday eventually; but, I'm trying to use up a few masks that I have open first so this might wait a bit!

Tarte Double Duty Beauty Shape Tape Contour Concealer in "Medium" ~ $27.00 US. Sculpt and highlight as you mask imperfections with this 2-in-1 full coverage concealer. The hydrating, longwearing formula delivers natural, radiant coverage across all skin types so you can instantly brighten and cover acne, dark circles and redness while softening the look of pores and fine lines.

This is an Ulta exclusive so I have been dying to try this for over a year! Shape Tape was almost in everyone's 2017 beauty favorites so it was the top on my list to pick up this trip! And, Medium is described as for medium skin with peachy undertones - I'm going to be honest I think that this will be too dark for me. But, they did not have a lighter shade in stock at the store I was at and I really wanted to try this. I think this will be good for spot concealing for sure if it's too dark for under my eyes, I will have to test it out!

Ulta Full Coverage Liquid Concealer in "Light Cool" ~ $9.00 US. Ulta's Full Coverage Liquid Concealer is a re-formulated concealer for a natural finish - perfect for dark eye circles or any imperfections. This light and creamy, full coverage liquid concealer contains special ingredients known to promote healing, concealing imperfections, and evening skin tone.

I think this is going to be a little light for my skintone; but, it will be good when I need a real brightening concealer. I saw on Youtube that this was really good, so I thought for $9 it would be great to try out and see! Might as well try Ulta brand while I'm there!

Urban Decay All Nighter Waterproof Full-Coverage Concealer in "Medium Light Neutral" ~ $29.00 US. Urban Decay's All Nighter Waterproof Full-Coverage Concealer provides flawless matte coverage that lasts all day and all night. Cover anything and get a perfectly blown-out effect. UD's ultra-pigmented, blendable formula controls shine and masks imperfections for 24 hours. And the beautiful, modern-matte finish never looks overdone.

Now, this is one of the products that I could have readily picked up in Canada; but, since I was doing a ton of shopping anyways I scooped it up! Plus, this is exactly my shade! This is said to rival the coverage of Shape Tape and Urban Decay's Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer is my holy grail right now, so I thought I would test this out too. I can tend to stick to the same concealer all the time, so it will be good to have a few more to try!

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge ~ $6.99 US. It's a 3-in-1 multi-functional makeup sponge by Real Techniques. The rounded side blends larger areas of the face. The precision tip covers blemishes/imperfections and the flat edge contours around the eyes and the nose, leaving you with a complexion that's smooth, enhanced and gorgeous!

Again, I can easily pick up Real Techniques in Canada; but, I don't often stop off in the stores so I thought I would grab some in Ulta. They also had a buy 2 get 1 free deal so I picked up 3 things! Can you believe that I haven't tried this sponge yet?! I thought it was about time I tried as everyone raves about it.

Real Techniques Setting Brush ~ $7.99 US. The micro Setting Brush is the key to completing any look with a controlled dusting of powder or highlighter.

I really loved the size of this brush and think it will be really versatile so I'm excited to try this out!

Real Techniques Eye Shade + Blend Duo Pack ~ $8.99 US. The Real Techniques Eye Shade + Blend Duo Pack is paired for easy two-color shadow application. Use with powder or cream shadows.

This set comes with the Deluxe Crease Brush and Base Shadow Brush and I have heard amazing things about the crease brush so I'm excited to try these out!

Dose of Colors Sassy Siennas Eyeshadow Palette ~ $32.00 US. Sassy Siennas Eyeshadow Palette is a matte eyeshadow palette with a mixture of peaches, siennas and rusty hues. This palette is the perfect dose of warm earth tones with a pop of peachy goodness.

Hello beautiful warm, rusty palette! Dose of Colors isn't available in Canada so I had to give their products a try! This looks great and I think I will have a full Dose of Colors post up eventually!

Lorac PRO Palette 3 ~ $44.00 US. The third edition to Lorac's original, best-selling PRO Palette, this PRO artistry palette is packed with 8 shimmer and 8 matte eyeshadows in all the soft and feminine shades you need to create the hottest looks straight from the Red Carpet. Lorac's velvety-smooth shadows are infused with soothing botanicals and are ultra-pigmented to perform wet or dry so you can shade, shadow, line and define your eyes, just like a PRO.

I love the original PRO palette and these shadows are an amazing formula! I can't wait to try this out and play around with it. The shadow shades are gorgeous and I think they will look amazing on! This will be reviewed eventually here for sure!

Laura Geller Glow For It Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator Trio ~ $35.00 US. Time to shine! Whether you choose one powder to highlight or blend for a custom glow, just one sweep of Laura Geller's Glow For It Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator Trio lights up your look with a lit-from-within spark.

I love these Laura Geller Baked Gelato Swirl highlighters - I have Gilded Honey and it's stunning. I actually went up to pick up the Diamond Dust shade and it wasn't available in stores, so I thought this was a great 2nd option. The full size highlighters are $29 each, so for $25 for 3 deluxe sizes is a great deal and I can't wait to try these 3 out!

Butter London Pantone 2018 Color of the Year Nail Lacquer in Ultra Violet ~ $10.00 US. Butter London is proud to partner once again with Pantone, the Global Color Authority, to introduce the Color of the Year 2018. Meet Ultra Violet, a provocative purple that speaks volumes and takes us to a place where imagination runs wild.

I really like Butter London's polish formula and I'm all over the colour of the year this year - Ulta Violet is gorgeous so when I saw this sitting beside the checkout till I had no problem throwing it in my bag too! Such a pretty polish!

Lorac PRO Liquid Lipstick in Mulberry ~ $19.00 US. Go PRO with Lorac PRO Liquid Lipstick! With the smooth glide of a gloss and the high pigment of a lipstick, this creamy, lightweight and long-lasting PRO formula coats the lips in bold color that dries down to a comfortable matte finish. The pointed applicator delivers precise, full coverage that lasts without bleeding or transferring.

Just like the Pro 3 eyeshadow palette, I really wanted to try Lorac because what I have tried I have really liked from the brand! This shade is so pretty and I can't wait to try it out - I'm sure I will review it eventually!

Mario Badescu Drying Lotion ~ $17.00 US. The Drying Lotion is a fast acting, effective acne spot treatment. Formulated with salicylic acid, calamine and other quick-drying ingredients, this product will shrink ugly whiteheads virtually overnight while you sleep. While other acne spot treatments can irritate and dry delicate or sensitive skin, this product is safe and effective for all skin types.

I think this works pretty similarly to the spot treatment patches I have been using; but, I'm running low and thought it would be good to give something new a try. I have heard really good things about this so I'm excited to see if it works!

Mario Badescu Facial Spray With Aloe, Herb and Rosewater ~ $7.00 US. A refreshing, hydrating mist to use anywhere anytime. Simply formulated with fragrant herbal extracts and rosewater for a pleasant, pick me up for dehydrated, tight and uncomfortable skin. Spray your day and night creams for a boost of hydration or use it to set make-up or spray on dry hair throughout the day.

Thought I would try more from this brand - I know this is available in Canada; but, I haven't tried it yet. I love rose for my skin so I am looking forward to trying this!

I had never heard of Naimie's until a couple of weeks ago and I saw it in an L.A. vlog - I looked it up and turned out that where I was staying in L.A. was super close to this store, so I stopped in really quickly on my way to Ulta!

Dose of Colors - The Snuggle is Real Set ~ $29.00 US. Our Liquid Matte Lipstick has a velvety high-fashion matte finish which envelops lips in rich, long wearing color. It applies as a creamy liquid but after a few minutes it dries to an ultra comfortable matte finish.

This set is so pretty! I have heard amazing things about the formula of the Dose of Colors liquid lipsticks and can't wait to try them! Although, I think this set was limited edition as I can't find it available anymore nor the individual shades, but the set includes a warm beige, dusty mauve taupe, and warm rose. Plus, these lipsticks are $18 each, so this was a good deal!

I was really planning on not getting much skincare on this trip, until I went in to Target! Weee! I actually had more makeup on my wishlist from Target; but, they didn't have much in stock where I was so I scooped up a bunch of masks I haven't seen near me! Now, Target does ship to Canada; but, the shipping is pretty pricey!

Make P:rem Layering Me. Soothing Mask ~ $6.99 US. Make P:rem's Layering Me. Layering Soothing mask, inspired by the layering ideology in Korean beauty, contains two sheet masks soaked in two unique essence formulas that, when layered, combine to soothe, hydrate and even tighten the skin in one step. The Soothing Mask is applied first to reduce redness, heal scars, and soothe irritation with Centella Asiatica extract, Pine Leaf extract and Aloe Vera. The Moisturizing Mask is layered on top to deeply hydrate the skin with pure Glacier water and Hyaluronic Acid.

Acure Radically Rejuvenating Under Eye Hydrogel Mask ~ $4.99 US. The Radically Rejuvenating Under Eye Hydrogel Mask is an intense, soothing under eye elixir hydrogel that works to help rejuvenate with cucumber and persian silk tree. Keep in the fridge for a cooling boost and say hello to deep hydration!

I was hoping to find the Acure sheet masks because I love the brand - but I found these instead and I love eye masks so I will happily use these!

Yes To Grapefruit Single Use Paper Mask ~ $2.49 US. Yes to looking on the bright side with grapefruit and a vitamin C boost to help skin look aglow and refine pores so you are selfie ready in a snap. The lightweight paper mask features a 96% natural ingredient formula that is also rich in antioxidants and Aloe that help hydrate and protect skin while leaving it naturally radiant.

I haven't tried much from this brand; but, I will always try sheet masks. I think these one a paper material, which I didn't notice until after and to be honest it doesn't sound that appealing to me; but, I will try it out and likely share my thoughts on a mask post!

Yes To Tomatoes Acne Fighting Paper Mask ~ $2.49 US. Yes to not playing connect the dots on your face! Formulated with tomato extracts and salicylic acid this single-use Tomatoes Paper Mask works to fight acne and prevent pesky new pimples from forming.
