Tarte Make Believe In Yourself: Eye & Cheek Palette - Thoughts and Swatches!

Despite what most of my blog posts might show, I actually think I'm pretty good with self-restraint and not buying every new makeup launch! So, when Tarte released their Unicorn Make Believe in Yourself collection in April in actually told myself that I didn't need it and was good... until now, because it's on sale!!! And, I can only resist something so much - sales i'm a total sucker for!!! 

Tarte Make Believe In Yourself: Eye & Cheek Palette ~ $52.00 CAN (currently on sale for $39.00!). A kaleidoscopic, unicorn-inspired eyeshadow palette with 10 radiant shadows and a strobing eye and cheek highlighter. The make believe in yourself eye & cheek palette features hypnotic shades that can be layered with the matte base and the strobing eye and cheek highlighter for a multi-faceted, fairy-like glow. Infused with Amazonian clay and mineral pigments, the silky-soft formula blends to a fine, long-lasting finish without any fallout or chalkiness. 

This palette is stunning! The packaging is gorgeous and the shadows included are so pretty! I'm surprised I waited so long to buy this! I love shimmer shadows on my lids and this has a really great range! The middle shade can be used a highlighter for under the brow or the cheeks. This comes with 9 shimmer shadows and 1 matte. 

In addition to being gorgeous, the palette smells like all Tarte palettes - AMAZING! I think they smell like vanilla and chocolate all swirled together!

I'm loving this palette! First, I love the 1 matte shade they have included - for me personally, Myth is a perfect transition shade! The rest of the eyeshadows are super pigmented and apply gorgeously! I love the impact they provide and they will all make for some stunning eye looks! I thought they were soft and swatched smoothly - there was a little fallout; but not much! The only that was a little different was the highlighter, Believe - I found it to be a little drier than the rest of the palette and it did apply lighter, but would build up nicely to give you the look you want! 

I know I didn't do an eye look with this palette, but I wanted to share my thoughts while it is still on sale! Will you be picking this up? I love it - you can look for it in some future makeup posts!
