This subscription focuses heavily on make-up items - so that is something to keep in mind! (I personally love all the makeup though and they have sent full size palettes in the past!) While it is a little pricier than the inexpensive beauty boxes, the majority of the products are full size!
Every subscriber generally receives the same products, but their is usually 1 or 2 items that have a few variations, so our boxes may not be identical!
Here is a look at my June Boxycharm:
This month's theme is "Downtown Charm" and Boxycharm always includes a detailed product card explaining the items that were included in each month's subscription.
Here is a look at the products I received:
RealHer Eye Shadow Palette I "Be Your Own Kind Of Beauty - Nude Collections" ~ $28.00. Featuring richly-pigmented hues and sexy combinations designed for all eye colors and skin tones. Delight in long-wearing, crease-resistant, fade-resistant, buildable colors in textures ranging from velvety smooth matte to metallic sheen.
I really love the message behind RealHer beauty - they are all about empowering women with motivational quotes and they also give 20% of their profits to charity. Boxycharm has included products from RealHer in past boxes and I think I will do a whole makeup look featuring their products!
Ofra Cosmetics Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick in "Santa Ana" ~ $19.90. OFRA Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick is a one step full lip color that does not feather. These vibrant colors will give you a vivacious new look. They are creamy and soft in texture, moisturizing the lips and creating a long lasting lipstick effect. No need to use lipliner, this liquid lipstick gives a beautiful edge to your lip look!
Boxycharm has included a lot of Ofra Cosmetics in their boxes - eyeshadows, lipsticks, highlighters, etc. I like all the products from Ofra so I'm happy to receive this. I have tried this formula before and really like it! The shade Santa Ana is described as "a berry rose and universally flattering pink shade with a hydrating matte finish." This shade is gorgeous!
Artist Couture Diamond Glow Powder in "Illuminati" ~ $26.99. This shimmering powder packs a high glow with a light silver and champagne iridescence, suitable only for true glow getters! This all–natural loose powder is finely milled. With versatility in use, it is suitable for light to dark skin tones. This product can be used on your face to highlight, or on your eyes, lips and body.
This is super glittery! I'm pretty sure this will be almost too glittery for a highlighter (and I enjoy a bold highlighter!) I'm not quite sure that I will be able to use this so I think I will pass this on.
Luxie Beauty - Rose Gold Pro Precision Tapered Face Brush 640 ~ $24.00. A fluffy face brush with flexible, tapered bristles perfect for dusting off the “bake” or excess powder from your face, or even highlighting your face.
I have received quite a few Luxie brushes in my past subscription boxes and I really like them! They are so soft! This one is no exception - it is super soft and can see it being great for dusting off excess powder and highlighting! Really happy with this!
Biobelle Cosmetics - 3 Sheet Masks ~ $14.97 ($4.99 each). Biobelle's sheet masks give your skin an instant boost, while deeply hydrating and evening your skin tone, revealing gorgeous, glowing skin! Biobelle's award-winning Tencel fiber adheres perfectly and delivers antioxidants to your skin faster and deeper.
The 3 sheets masks I received are: #iwokeuplikethis (enhances skin's natural glow), #beautysecret (moisturizes to help the skin appear smooth & firm), and #primer (prep the skin for a flawless makeup application). I love receiving sheet masks and I will be reviewing these - I am looking forward to trying the tencel formula. I'm really interested in trying the primer mask, which is meant to be used before makeup application!
Boxycharm came with 5 (technically 7 if you count each mask) full sized items and a value of $113.86. This subscription came with a great variety of products - eyeshadow, lipstick, masks, a makeup brush, and body powder. I'm really happy with the products this month (the only thing I will pass on is the powder). Boxycharm always has a huge value and is well worth the subscription price to me!
