Huge ColourPop Haul & Swatches!

I have made it pretty obvious from my past posts that I love ColourPop Cosmetics - I place orders all the time and have quite a few products stashed up waiting to be swatched!

Unfortunately, the last 3 ColourPop orders that I placed were hit with Customs fees so I think I will take a hiatus from ordering from them (at least, that's what I'm telling myself right now!) But here is a look at some goodies from my recent past orders:

Huge ColourPop Haul & Swatches!

The newest items are the ColourPop single pressed powder eyeshadows. I actually did a very recent post on just the pressed powder shadows with a makeup look - you can check it out here. These are swatched with a finger and in natural light with no primer, for a look at the true colour:

These shadows are $5 a piece and come in a variety of finishes - matte, satin, metallic, and duochrome.

The News Read all about this matte warm rose

Pinky PromiseCross your heart in this metallic wine
High StrungThis metallic dusty rose is on another level
PebblesThis satin yellowy pink will make your Bedrock
SauvageDidn't they tell you that I'm a duochrome peach with a hot pink flip?
Bouquet TossYou'll be dying to catch this metallic pinky peach
Double Date ~Two metallic lavenders are better than one
On The Fence ~ You won't be on the fence when it comes to loving this frosty pink
Secrets ~ This matte pale baby pink's lips are sealed

For the most part, these shadows were good! The metallics and duochromes had a little bit of fallout and double date was not as pigmented as I wanted, but I do like how these apply - they blend well and look good!

In addition to offering single shadows, ColourPop has put together a few mini palettes with 4 coordinating shadows. These are $18 (saves you $2 if you were to buy all 4 shadows on their own!).

I picked up the "Blow Me Away" Pressed Powder Shadow Palette described as "this vibrant quad will take your breath away with its fresh, peachy coral tones". And it includes:

Take A Break ~ You're going to need a second to take in this duochrome peach with a subtle gold flip
Issues ~ I got 99 problems, but this matte pastel peach ain't one
Centerfold ~ This matte vibrant coral needs a two-page spread!
Slim Fit ~ matte hot red coral

This fits in great with the Peach trend right now! The palettes are really big for 4 little shadows, but I like these shades. A couple of the mattes have a little fallout, but I don't mind as they are so pretty!

I also picked up some of ColourPop's Super Shock Shadows - these are a really unique, creamy formula shadows that are sold in singles for $5 each! Again, they come in all different finishes (although, clearly I only picked up super glittery ones in my last few orders!)

Glitterati ~ Join the glitterati in this silver with gold Ultra-Glitter
Eye Candy ~ An icy lavender drizzled with tons of silver Ultra-Glitter, a seriously sweet treat that will definitely give you a sugar rush without the crash
Prickly Pear ~ We don't always reach for a prickly pear, but when we do... it's a lavender with gold and violet Ultra Glitter
Far Side ~ No conspiracies here, there’s life in this deepened bronze undertone sprinkled with lots of gold Ultra-Glitter and subtle pink and silver highlights

Who doesn't love ulta-glittery shadows?! I do like the uniqueness of the Super Shock shadows - they are best applied with a finger, or a brush that has been sprayed with a primer.

Recently, ColourPop also released pressed powder blushes and highlighters as well. I was excited to try these! These duos are $16 each and are huge!

I picked up the "Done Deal" Pressed Powder Face Duo described as "this fresh and girly duo won't have you second guessing that rosy glow!" It includes:

Above & Beyond ~ matte blush; warm pink
Made Me Do It ~ pearlized highlighter; champagne pink

I'm impressed with the pigmentation of both of these products - I much prefer them to the creamy texture of their original formulas

ColourPop has a ton of different lip formulas - they are most known for their Ultra Matte Lip! I have quite a few full size lipsticks, but I love that they have mini size sets as well so you can try quite a few shades for a better price!

This "The Good Times" Mini Size Kit has 5 Ultra Matte Lips for $18.00 (currently on sale for $14.40 and on last call so scoop it up if you are interested!) The kit comes with:

Times Square muted pink beige

Solow flamingo pink
Bad Habit true berry
Creeper classic blue-red
Avenue deep brick red

I'm a big fan of the Ultra Matte Lip formula - it can be a bit drying, but just start with a lip scrub and a primer and it is much easier to wear!

In addition their Ultra Matte Lip formula, ColourPop also has satins, glosses, metallics, lippie stix, blotted lips, etc. They are all between $5 and $6. Here are a few different lips swatched:

Panda ~ $6.00. Panda panda panda in this deep violet (Ultra Satin Lip)

Viper ~ $6.00. You’ll really want to sink your teeth into this true dusty rose (Ultra Matte Lip)
Frick N' Frack ~ $6.00 for full size (I have a sample size here). You be Frick and we'll be Frack and we'll both look good in this rosy terracotta (Ultra Satin Lip)
London Fog ~ $6.00 for full size (I have a sample size here). You won't get lost in the fog in this pinky red (Ultra Satin Lip)
Drip ~ $5.00. Drip, drop, flip your top in this warm rosey mauve (Blotted Lip)
Baewatch ~ $5.00. We don't stalk, we baewatch this dusty rose in a Matte finish (Lippie Stix)

The Blotted Lips are new formulas that I'm really excited to get using! Personally, my favorite formula from all the ColourPop lips is the Lippie Stix - they are really wearable and don't dry the lips. Also, I do really like the Ultra Satin formula as well!

So, this will likely be my last ColourPop haul for a while, unless they come out with something that I REALLY need, but I don't like customs fees. Plus, I generally only order when they have good deals on shipping to Canada. What are your favorite ColourPop products?
