Happy Skincare Sunday - I'm still easing myself in to blogging slowly here! My little guy is just 1 week old so I'm still trying to get in to a routine here!
My skincare has fallen a little to the wayside the last week so I have been trying to get a lot of masking in when I can!
Maskingdom I Wish "Having A Baby" Mask ~ $7.00. Trying to hard to get pregnant? The mask of Ylang Love essential attributed to its properties as an antidepressant and aphrodisiac. Helps you sooth your body and get your man ready for everything.
Okay.... so I bought this thinking it was a fun baby announcement, post baby! Trust me, I am not planning on using this to help me get pregnant at all.
Maskingdom masks are super soft to wear - I have tried one mask from this series before - you can see my review of it here! "Each mask is made from 100% natural Japanese silk, both thin and form-fitting to deliver an abundance of moisture and nutrients deep into your skin."
This mask is a 2 step mask - the first step is the silk sheet mask and the second step is a moisture serum that you apply post-mask.
This mask is straight-forward to apply: wash face, tone skin, apply face mask, leave on for 20-30 minutes, remove mask, pat remaining essence in to the mask, apply the step 2 moisture serum, and complete skincare routine.
This mask is so soft and adheres really well to the face. The mask comes well soaked in essence and lasted almost an hour on my face. This mask doesn't have a lot of tabs around the edges, but it does fit well to my face! This mask did make my skin feel really refreshed and smooth - I didn't feel any aphrodisiac qualities (but i'm not complaining!)
This mask came with a lot of essence - this covered my face well and there was still extra essence left over! I used it wherever I could! This made my skin feel really great. Very soft and moisturized!
Overall, I quite liked this Maskingdom mask - it was so soft and smooth and moisturizing on my face! The silk material makes it felt very luxurious and it is a great "treat yourself" mask. I likely won't be picking up this "having a baby" mask again, but I will absolutely try more Maskingdom masks!
