Happy Mask Wednesday! I have been so looking forward to masking - it has been a few days since I have worn a mask and my skin can tell!
Holika Holika Before & After Mask Sheet "After Night Overtime" Review ~ $3.00 CAN. This mask sheet contains vitality essence (peppermint, chamomile, acerola, blueberry) . It improves dull skin after night overtime.
I will say a newborn baby at nighttime is the exact same thing as working nighttime overtime (maybe even harder). And, I used to work shift work so I definitely know this! I'm am lacking in the sleep department right now so my skin could use some vitality right now!
I got this mask in a past In8 Beauty subscription and had to laugh when I saw this packaging - I think it hilarious and love how it targets exactly what your skin needs! This whole "Before & After" line is great - it includes options like after drinking, after studying, before interview, etc. These would be cute to include in a little care package for someone!
This mask is straight forward to use - wash face, tone skin, apply mask, leave on for 15-20 minutes, remove mask, pat remaining essence in to skin, and complete skincare routine.
This mask clearly fits quite big - but it did have enough tabs around the edges and a great amount of essence that it adhered well and lasted for 45 minutes on my face. There was no extra essence in the package but the mask was well soaked. It didn't have a scent which was great and worked really well on my skin! It did deliver on it's promise - it made my skin look brighter and more awake! It did make my skin feel more hydrated too, which was great!
This mask was really fun - a combination of great packaging and a good mask too! I love this series of masks and I would try other masks in the series too!
